The glass dome contained a lifelike rose made from various dried flowers.

Cort had stayed up with me for several sleepless nights to create it.

He even joked that we should use this for our wedding bouquet.

A sweet smile spread across my face.

But in the next second, my upturned lips slowly fell, becoming unusually stiff.

"Xanthe, I've finally found you..."

The hoarse male voice rang out like a sudden clap of thunder beside my ear.

I raised my head in shock, following the sound.

Nolan stood there in a black coat, staring at me across the crowd.

My vision grew dim and rigid,

While his eyes suddenly lit up with joy.

After more than a year apart, he seemed to have lost his former arrogance.

His gaze was full of pleading as he looked at me, "Xanthe, I know I was wrong. Will you come home with me?"

The spotlights in the exhibition hall suddenly became blinding,
