As Samantha introduced herself, Emily's eyes narrowed. Who was this woman, and how did she know they were in danger?

But before Emily could ask any questions, Samantha quickly explained her story. She had been a former employee of the Wrights, but she had discovered their sinister plans and had escaped.

"I've been watching you from afar," Samantha said, her eyes locked on Emily's face. "I know you're in grave danger, and I want to help."

Ben's eyes were skeptical, but Emily could see the desperation in Samantha's eyes. She was telling the truth.

"What makes you think you can help us?" Ben asked, his voice cautious.

Samantha smiled. "I have information," she said. "Information that could bring down the Wrights once and for all."

Emily's heart skipped a beat. What kind of information could Samantha possibly have?

As Samantha began to explain, Emily's eyes widened in shock. Samantha had discovered a secret ledger, detailing the Wrights' illegal activities and their connections to corrupt officials.

"This is it," Emily said, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is the evidence we need to bring them down."

Ben's face was grim. "I don't know, but we need to be careful."

As they waited in silence, Emily's mind was racing with questions. Who was outside? And what did they want?

And then, just as they were about to find out, the door burst open, and a group of men stormed inside.

They were the Wrights' goons, and they were armed to the teeth.
