Chapter 100: A Public Declaration Over the Airwaves

Thump—thump—

Anran's heart was racing faster and faster. She was afraid of what he might say next, afraid it would be too much for her to bear. So she remained silent, her obsidian-black eyes wide and bright as they met his gaze.

Damn it!

He could hear the pounding of her heart, could almost smell the unique fragrance of her blood. But she had no idea how irresistibly she drew the attention of the bloodkin. Even though she wore the cross symbolizing the heir of the Morris family, he still couldn't shake the unease. What if some reckless fool decided to approach her?

He recalled the way the bloodkin had looked at her on Qingyun Peak—their eyes filled with greed, desire, and madness…

Richard's eyes darkened. It was time to make his claim.

Without warning, Richard grabbed her hand and began pulling her down the stairs, his expression grim.

Anran was caught off guard by his sudden action. Just moments ago, everything had seemed fine. Why was he suddenly so stern? His grip was tight—too tight, almost painful.

"Richard, where are you taking me?" Anran asked, completely unaware of his concerns. She had no choice but to follow him.

"You'll find out soon enough," Richard replied, his pace brisk.

They descended the stairs and walked through the hallways. Richard was like a magnet, drawing attention wherever he went. Whether it was because of his surname or his natural charisma, people couldn't help but notice him. And now, the boy who never interacted with anyone was holding a girl's hand and walking through the school building. Everyone who witnessed the scene doubted their eyes.

Anran kept her head down, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. All she wanted was to reach their destination as quickly as possible.

Though it had only been a few minutes, it felt like an eternity to Anran. She wasn't used to being the center of attention. While the onlookers didn't dare stare openly—fearful of angering Richard—they still stole glances from the corners of their eyes. This only made Anran feel even more uncomfortable.

They finally arrived at their destination. Without waiting for someone to open the door, Richard kicked it open with a loud "Bang!"

The people inside looked up in surprise, only to quickly lower their heads and greet him respectfully upon recognizing Richard of the Morris family.

"Turn on all the equipment," Richard ordered.

The staff hurried to comply. When Anran saw the equipment in the room, she realized where Richard had brought her.

This was the school's broadcasting room. What was Richard planning to do here?

Richard still held Anran's hand tightly. With a glance, he prompted one of the staff members to hand him a microphone. His deep, smooth voice filled the room as he spoke.

"Listen up, everyone. This is Richard Morris."

Anran was puzzled. What was Richard about to say? He held the microphone in one hand while keeping a firm grip on her with the other.

Suddenly, Richard turned to her, his gaze intense. Then, she heard the words that shattered her composure.

His voice, a mix of sultry and husky, echoed through the microphone and spread across every corner of the campus.

"Starting today, I'm in a relationship with Anran from Class 1, Grade 11."
