"I might've been naive to think I could do the full thing right now. Thank you for entertaining me Master Purple Miasma."

Hou had woken up and after making sure he was fine, apologised to Nine Clouds Purple Miasma for being so ignorant.

'Ive only just begun true cultivation, why would I be so good. I might've been good at magic and traditional cultivation but that was cheated with Araxis and Yue's help. This time I'm just me, and that's fine. It just means I need to put in more effort and time.'

"It's fine, don't feel bad about it. You did excellent actually! You extracted drops of sun laws on your first try, that's really good. Think of it as a long term project, normally you would need to act quick with alchemy but this is a low grade pill so I easily sealed it. Once you're ready, you can continue it."

"Thank you master"

"It's nothing, I'll show you me making the pill myself and then you can use that to heal your internal injuries"

Hou was in a lighter robe, he was put out of his other clothes to facilitate a better healing environment. He hobbled and followed Nine Clouds Purple Miasma to the alchemy room.

On the way, Nine Clouds Purple Miasma took out an ingredient from the storage room and brought it with him.

"I'll use your ingredients that you laid out, the storage will be restocked so don't worry. For now just watch"

Nine Clouds Purple Miasma took the ingredient he picked up from the storage room, a small red crystal. Inside the centre of the crystal was what looked like a small sun.

He held it in his hands then he crushed it, pouring it into an empty pill refining furnace. Drops of sun laws dropped out of his hand and into the furnace.

As soon as the drops of materialised law hit the furnace walls, bright light was let out. Sunlight poured out of the furnace. 

"This is where you got to, now pay attention."

Nine Clouds Purple Miasma put his hands either side of the furnace and started his alchemy. The sunlight pouring out from the drops of sun laws was confined. In an instant the sunlight all became an aura of light specifically within the furnace. 

He then made an ingredient in the floor fly over to him with a flick of the wrists,

"Next we need cloud laws, as is the speciality of the Nine Clouds Sovereign Sect. This is a Heavenly Solid Cloud piece."

He then threw the piece of white solidified cloud into the furnace. It then turned the furnace into a small diorama, the clouds at the top and the sunlight below. 

Hou could still see the inside through vent holes around the furnace. Next Nine Clouds Purple Miasma started to manipulate the inside. The sun and clouds swirling and forming a round sphere of mixed elements. 

Then Nine Clouds Purple Miasma took multiple ingredients and threw them in, the inside slowly modifying itself.

Then at the penultimate step, he threw in a food pill. The elements swirling around then went into he food pill. It started to penetrate the brown muddy orb.

Then the final step, Nine Clouds Purple Miasma finished off the pill by putting in a small dot. It was a tiny black dot.

"This is the most expensive ingredient a single point of space law. This is for stability, it is not needed but it vastly increases the success chance."

The dot made contact with the orb and a bright light flashed. The whole room flashed for a moment with bright gold light. 

Hou flinched and when he opened his eyes the room was filled with smoke. He started to cough with his lungs still damaged from the sun laws.

"And this is the reason for the chimney in the centre" Nine Clouds Purple Miasma pointed in the middle of the room. 

The chimney activated and all the hot smoke was sucked in and away. Hou looked at the chimney but then looked back at the finished pill. 

"So this is the finished product?" 

"Yes, right now though all the laws are solidified and materialised unlike external cultivation so they will seem mostly normal. However when you digest it, all the laws will start to work."

"So do I just eat it? Do I chew?"

"You may chew if you wish, only break it up slightly though. Or you can just swallow."

Hou nodded and took the pill from the inside of the furnace. He held it in his hands, a small finger-joint sized pill. It was completely golden and feel normal to touch unlike the Heat Absorbing Golden Pill.

'Different than the Heat Absorbing Golden Pill? Perhaps because the Heat Absorbing Golden Pill was still being refined, it needed to still absorb laws' Hou was thinking to himself.

Hou put aside his thoughts and took a deep breath. He tilt his head back and threw the pill in, swallowing without chewing.

"Now sit down and observe yourself." Nine Clouds Purple Miasma instructed Hou.

Hou obliged and sat down, turning his attention inwards. Almost instantly, he felt a heat rising from his stomach. The heat spread through his body and towards his injured chest and arm. There the heat became cool and his body grew rapidly!

"As you can maybe feel, the pill just facilitates the healing factor of the body itself using other laws. The best law for healing is of course a healing law. But by combining the growth of the sun and manipulability of clouds with other auxillary laws, you could heal. Laws are not some kind of singular material, they are a soft meaning. Specifically I used a sun law based healing method to mesh with the laws in your body. If conflicting laws were used, like those of the ocean, certain other effects could have occured." Nine Clouds Purple Miasma explained.

Hou opened up his eyes and stretched, feeling refreshed.

"I see, cultivation is truly profound. I was thinking too simply, I am enlightened"
