Rooting For The Antihero.

Chen Yuqi is a sophomore year student at a popular Chinese University. She's also active member at one of the bookclubs at the university where they usually met up to talk about novels. During one of their sessions, while everyone was rooting for the protagonist in the story, Chen Yuqi,in contrary to others,roots for the second male protagonist. After the book club session and a dinner to welcome their new member who happened to be her crush,Chen Yuqi returns home wishing to take a little rest but ends up sleeping instead.









During her sleep,she mysteriously travelled to the novel they had been reading earlier and takes the place of the female protagonist Liu Yihan. Following her earlier opinions about preferring the second male protagonist, she's surprised to seeing the guy resembles her real life crush. She's determined to capture his heart even when she knows he's not her real world life crush Xu Wen which she succeeds in the end.









After waking up from the blissful dream, she's disappointed to find out her experiences were purely an imagination. However life has so many unpredictions,with time she gets entangled with Xu Wen to continue their love story in her real life.
