After Fainting

Ji Aier woke up and found herself in Ji En's room, but he wasn't there. She managed to sit up and tapped her head to make her groggy mind a bit clearer. She couldn't quite remember what had happened last night.

After freshening up, she put on the clothes that Ji En had prepared for her in the dressing room and went downstairs.

"You're awake. Are you feeling better?" Aunt Li, who was cleaning in the living room, came over with a loving expression and asked Ji Aier when she saw her coming downstairs.

"What happened to me?" Ji Aier asked in confusion. In the Ji family, Ji Aier thought that Aunt Li and her family were the kindest to her.

"You fainted last night. It really worried the young master! After the doctor came to see you, he gave you an IV drip. Do you feel better now?" Aunt Li said.

"I'm fine now. Thank you, Aunt Li," Ji Aier said. How could Ji En have been worried? Was Aunt Li joking? He had made her so angry that she fainted, so how could he be worried? Ji Aier remembered why she had fainted last night.

"The young master told me to remind you to bring him lunch at noon!" Aunt Li said to Ji Aier. "Since you're not feeling well, let the chef prepare it for you later, and you can just take it there."

"No need, Aunt Li! I can do it myself," Ji Aier said. How could Ji En be nice to her? Even though she wasn't feeling well, he still wanted her to bring him lunch. And Ji En must have required her to cook it herself. If she didn't, she would be in trouble again.

"Then have some breakfast first. This is the porridge that the young master specifically asked to be cooked for you this morning," Aunt Li went into the kitchen and brought out a bowl of wolfberry and chicken porridge to the dining table, then pulled Ji Aier to sit at the table.

"I don't have much of an appetite," Ji Aier said, looking at the porridge on the table without any desire to eat.

"Eat a little bit. You need to have some strength," Aunt Li scooped a small bowl for her and placed it in front of her, urging her.

"Aunt Li, has your son graduated already?" Ji Aier remembered that Aunt Li had a son named Li Ge, who was in university at that time. By now, he must have graduated.

"He's driving for the young master now," Aunt Li said.

"Oh, so the person I saw that day was your son! No wonder he looked a bit familiar," Ji Aier remembered the person who had driven the car when she was kidnapped that day.

"You've met him?"

"I just met him once on the day I came here," Ji Aier said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Oh! He probably wouldn't recognize you easily. You had already left the Ji family when he graduated," Aunt Li probably felt that she had said something inappropriate, so she quickly changed the topic. "Hurry up and eat, or it'll get cold and won't taste good."

"Okay," Ji Aier nodded and said no more. She started thinking about what lunch to bring Ji En at noon.
