A Complete Disappearance

Ji En woke up from the sofa but didn't see Ji Aier in the hospital bed. Only Minze, who was still in his dreams, was there. Almost reflexively, he stood up, and a sense of unease grew stronger. He started looking for Ji Aier.

When he and everyone else had searched the entire hospital thoroughly, they still couldn't find Ji Aier.

The surveillance cameras showed that Ji Aier had walked out of the hospital alone...

"Find her for me as quickly as possible, by any means necessary," Ji En said to Long Yuhao.

"Don't worry. We'll do our best to find sister-in-law," Long Yuhao promised on the other end of the phone. As long as she was in this country, he was sure he could use his influence to find Ji Aier. It was just a matter of time.

Ji Aier, with a dazed mind, walked aimlessly. She didn't even have her shoes on. She felt as if she had lost something very important, and she had to find it no matter what, so she kept walking and walking...

Ji Aier heard a sharp sound like something scraping, but she didn't care. All she cared about was finding what she had lost as soon as possible. Then she lay on the ground and lost consciousness...

"Master, she fainted," Richie, the bodyguard who got out of the car to check, walked to the back seat and reported to the person in the car.

"Take her back," Raymond said indifferently. He had come here to look for his sister but didn't find her. Instead, he had come across a girl who fainted in front of his car. She reminded him of his sister whom he hadn't found yet.

The fainted Ji Aier was carried into the car, and then the car drove towards the villa on the hillside.

In the villa on the hillside,

Ji Aier kept having fevers and fainting spells. Her condition didn't improve until half a month later.

"Master, that young lady is much better today. She woke up this morning," the maid, Qi Yala, reported to Raymond.

"When she's fully recovered, ask for her home address and have Giovanni send her back," Raymond instructed.

"Yes, master," Qi Yala retreated.

Raymond looked at the information about some orphaned children with mixed-race characteristics that had just been faxed over from various orphanages on the table. But none of them was what he was looking for.

His brows furrowed unconsciously.

Raymond was of mixed race. His father was a man of Italian and British descent, and his mother was Chinese. So half of his blood was of Chinese origin. Before leaving Italy, his mother had taken his youngest sister away. So before his father passed away, his last wish was for Raymond to come to China, find his sister, and let her return to recognize her ancestors and relatives.
