I'll Be Waiting for You in Another World

Ji Aier sat up and looked at this strange place. Suddenly, she felt a sense of security. In a completely unfamiliar place, she could forget all her troubles, without any pain or worry.

Ji Aier opened the door and peeked out. The corridor was quiet. She walked out, still barefoot, wearing a white gauzy nightgown. She gave people a sense of being like a ghost.

As she went downstairs, Ji Aier heard very soft music coming from the end of the corridor. She couldn't help but walk towards that place. She didn't know it was Raymond's study.

Ji Aier looked at the man in front of her whose gaze shifted from the book to her and who had eyes as green as emeralds. She didn't feel the slightest bit of fear, just looking at him quietly.

"Are you feeling better?" Raymond asked her with a smile. He thought that this seemingly very delicate girl must be the one who fainted in front of his car. Although this was the first time he had seen her clearly, he was sure of it. Because there wouldn't be any strangers here except her.

Ji Aier nodded but still didn't speak. She continued to look at him, directly into his eyes. He made her feel like she was meeting a family member, even though they were so different.

"If you want to talk to me, have a seat here," Raymond felt a bit awkward being stared at like this, as if he were a thief.

Ji Aier walked in, but she didn't sit on the chair beside Raymond. Instead, she looked at the books on his bookshelf. He had so many books! she thought.

Then she saw a book titled *I'm in Another World*.

"If you like it, I can lend it to you," Raymond said when he saw that Ji Aier's gaze was fixed on that book.

Ji Aier shook her head because in her heart, she was already in another world.

"You fainted, so we brought you back. We have no other intentions," Raymond thought that she didn't speak because she didn't trust them.

Ji Aier still shook her head and then showed a smile like a ray of winter sunshine. It was like the warmth that could penetrate the thick clouds and shine on the snow.

She looked very beautiful when she smiled, Raymond thought. It was a pity that she couldn't speak. Maybe this was like the incomplete beauty of Venus.

In the evening, she had dinner with him. She still had porridge because, just having recovered from a serious illness, she needed to pay attention to her diet. And he had a macaroni set meal.

After Ji Aier finished eating, she wiped her mouth and then showed a smile like that of a baby. Raymond also smiled. She really reminded him of his sister whom he had never met. If he found his sister, she would probably be around this age.

"Can you tell me your name?" Raymond asked because he still didn't know her name.

Ji Aier continued to look at him and didn't answer.

"If it's inconvenient for you to say, that's okay," Raymond didn't want to force her.

Ji Aier made a circle in the air and then made a sleeping gesture. She wanted him to know that she was someone who needed to fall asleep and never wake up.

"If you don't mind, I'll call you Siwei from now on," Raymond said. Siwei was the name of the Sleeping Beauty in the legend.

Ji Aier nodded. She had a new name, a new life. She would forget the past and welcome the future.
