The First Test

Ji Aier woke up early in the morning, perhaps because she had fallen asleep too early the night before. She found herself nestled in Ji En's arms, and Ji En's hand was still possessively wrapped around her waist. She didn't push him off the bed as she had done before. Instead, she gently tried to move his hand away, but before she could succeed, Ji En woke up. He opened his sleepy eyes and looked at Ji Aier, who felt a bit embarrassed.

He smiled and reached out again to pull Ji Aier completely into his arms, greedily breathing in her fragrance.

Ji Aier was just about to say that she wanted to get up when Ji En covered her lips with his. He quickly made Ji Aier lose her ability to think. Ji Aier's body always revealed her love for Ji En more honestly than her words.

At 9:25, Ji Aier appeared downstairs of Longteng Building. Fortunately, it wasn't on the same floor as Ji En's office, or she would have felt really annoyed! And the switchboard operator had also been replaced, so no one knew her. Even if the operator hadn't been replaced, she guessed that they probably wouldn't know who she was either. Ji Aier thought with relief.

She remembered that in the morning, it took her nearly an hour to reach an agreement with Lin Lan that he didn't need to follow her every step but only needed to pick her up and drop her off for work.

Ji Aier looked at the business card Enrico had given her. His office was on the 34th floor.

In the elevator, Ji Aier met the girl she had seen in the Huayi exclusive store that day again. Because the girl was wearing the outfit she had tried on that day, Ji Aier was sure that she wasn't Su Yuncao. The girl also seemed to recognize Ji Aier and smiled at her.

"Do you work here too?" Ji Aier asked.

"No, I'm here to pick up some documents," Su Xuncao nodded and said. "My name is Su Xuncao."

"Su Xuncao?" Even the name was so similar. "Is Su Yuncao your sister?"

"Oh, no. I'm an only child in my family," Su Xuncao smiled and said, thinking that there were also people with names so similar to hers. There had been quite a few strange things happening recently.

"I'm here. Let's talk another day," The 33rd floor arrived, and Su Xuncao said to Ji Aier. She was here to pick up a document.

"Goodbye," Ji Aier waved at Su Xuncao.

When she reached the 34th floor,

Ji Aier got out of the elevator.

"Hello. Is Mr. Enrico Laus here?" Ji Aier asked a fashionable girl who was walking towards her.

"The director's office is at the end of the corridor," The fashionable girl said to Ji Aier.

"Thank you," Ji Aier felt that standing in front of this girl, she looked like an underdeveloped middle school student.

Ji Aier knocked on the door outside Enrico's office.

"Ai'er, I thought you weren't coming," Enrico's voice didn't come from his office but from behind Ji Aier.

Ji Aier turned around and saw Enrico dressed in a formal suit.

"Sorry, I'm late," Ji Aier said apologetically. It was all Ji En's fault. Otherwise, she should have been able to report much earlier.

"OK, don't let it happen again," Because Enrico was someone who didn't like people being late.

"No problem," Ji Aier promised.

Enrico took Ji Aier into his office. This office was very spacious, and the furnishings were very personalized.

"Before I'm sure whether you're qualified for the job or not, I'll give you a small test. These are the photos of the models for my latest season's fashion show. Which model do you think is more suitable to showcase this outfit?" Enrico picked up a stack of photos from the desk and pointed at a simple-cut evening dress with a striking color contrast in his office and asked Ji Aier.

Ji Aier put down her bag and took the photos from Enrico's hand. There were at least fifty or sixty photos. She had never been involved in any clothing-related industry before, so she had no idea what a professional perspective was. All she could do now was rely on her intuition to make a choice.

Five minutes later, Ji Aier pointed at one of the photos of a model with flowing long hair and said, "I personally think it should be her." Then she looked at Enrico.

"Why?" A glimmer of surprise flashed in Enrico's eyes. Ji Aier's choice coincided with his, but he still asked calmly.

"Don't laugh at me when I tell you,"

"It's okay. Tell me your thoughts."
