Home Is a Dangerous Place

Every year, many people travel by train from one place to another in the hope of building a new home for themselves one person is coming to the town, a man named Keito, with his 6-year-old daughter Angel, Kaito is a young man in his late twenties and a normal person like anyone else on the train or at least he pretends to be, as the train passes a farm field Kaito looks out and thinks "a week ago I got a letter….more like will from my parents in which it was written that after their death their old house would be inherited by me…getting that letter only means one thing. Anyway, one thing I didn't know was why me. I left the house years ago, yet still this letter comes along" he looks at his sleeping daughter "Ah…angel, even I don't want to have any relations with my parents, why does she have to suffer also, I needed a change of pace for her maybe that why I am here " the train slows down, they arrived at the station "hey, the angle we are here wake up" Kaito tries to wake his daughter up. Still, she was so sleepy she didn't wake up so Kaito carries her and their luggage and walked out of the train on his way out of the station everyone at the station stairs at Kaito with astonishment they can't believe how a normal looking person like Kaito can carry all that bags and a kid altogether, outside Kaito calls up to a taxi driver "excuse ?? can you take us to this address ?" Kaito handed him over a paper slip on which an address was written, the driver looked at it and replied, "Sure, get in" The driver drove them towards their destination on their way, the driver asked Kaito "" Are you new here, sir ??" Kaito from the back seat replies, "yes…actually no I was born here but I haven't been here for some time I just came back" the driver then asked another question "OH…so what brings you here sir?" Kaito replies "just wanted to make a new life for myself and my daughter" the driver looks at angel through the back mirror and asked "Your daughter?? You look quite young to have a daughter this young" Kaito smiled and replied, "Actually, she is my brother's daughter …he passed away, so I adopted her " The driver nodded in approval for Kaito's kindness and said, "Well,, you still chose the worst place to raise a child sir" Kaito finds that a little odd so he asked "and whys that ??" the driver looks at Kaito and replies "just look outside sir…this place is full of dangers gangs, crimes everything not the safest place " driver's voice shows concern, but Kaito laugh it off and replied "well it's about how safe you can be right?" the driver didn't say anything just looks at Kaito and continue driving soon they reach their destination they got off the taxi and walks toward the address their they see a big house in which their parents used to live, seeing the house again make Kaito emotional he froze in the place and just looks at it suddenly angel who's now up asked him "why are you crying ??" Kaito looked at her once he knew she was up, he put her down and replied, "I wasn't crying I got something in my eyes" Kaito wiped his tears "Is this our new house ??" the angel asked Kaito, cleaned his eyes and replied "yes this is" Later that day Kaito and angel worked together and clean up the house they arranges some stuff to spend the night "this should be fine for now rest we do tomorrow" as Kaito turns around he saw angel sleeping on the bags he puts her up and lies her down on a mattress upon seen her sleeping a thought came to him "I need to find a job" he walks out of the house and remembers "the man who gave me the will said he works on a bar somewhere here maybe I should ask him" Kaito walks around the town and finds a huge Bar/ night Club name Club Velvet as he tries to enter the club a big bouncer stops him "where the hell you think you are going ??" Kaito stuttered and replied, "I…I am here to meet Samuel Ford" Before the bouncer could say anything, a voice called him from behind "Hey kid, you are finally here" Kaito turned around and saw Samuel he was the one who dropped that will to Kaito in his old place "it's ok MAX let him in" the bouncers moves away, and Kaito walks right in with Samuel "you wait in the booth I'll join you in a minute" Samuel leave Kaito in the booth and went to another room the club was big full of lights and everything surely whoever owns the club make a lot of money Kaito was looking around and then Samuel calls him from the bar there he was in a bartender's uniform ", so you work here" Kaito ask as he sits down in a chair at the bar "hey! It's not the best job in this city, but it's an honest work, so how are you settling in" bartender asked "yeah…I am getting just right," Kaito replied with a tense look on his face "What is it??" Samuel asked, "I need a job…. anything you can help with?" Kaito asked the bartender, thought for a moment, then he replied, "I can't, but my boss may help you, Sergio." Kaito questioned, "Sergio??" Samuel asked, "Why do you know him?" Kaito replied, "I don't know, maybe" Samuel continued ", anyways He's out of town, but as soon as he comes back, you can talk to him he got me a job", Kaito replied, "Thanks, man" Samuel then turns around the bar asked, "so you want anything??" Kaito replied, "Ah no, man, I don't drink…also, I should get back home" Kaito got up and walked towards the door before leaving Samuel stopped him and said, "Hey Kaito…be careful out there" For a moment, Kaito was confused about what he meant by that, as he walked back home he saw something unusual he noticed some men walking around his house trying to get a look in "HEY!!!!" Kaito shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Kaito rushed at them, but before he could reach them, they ran away. Kaito got worried, but he couldn't think of anything at the moment, just the dead silence of the night. The next day at Club Velvet, "Did they steal anything?" Samuel asked, "Ah…no, they were just looking I don't know, it was creepy, man, was it always like this?" Kaito asked. Samuel poured himself a glass of alcohol and replied, "Nah, it was a lot of quitter, not anymore" he drank from the glass "Anyway, how did you find me?" Kaito asked, Samuel smiled and replied "your parents told me about you, when I first came to this town, they are the one who helped me, so I helped you" Samuel emptied the whole glass and star pour more "ok I should go back home" kaito got up and left the club on his way he noticed some people looking at talking and side eyeing he quickly get back later that day there was a knock on the door kaito was hammering the nails on the wall so he called his daughter to answer it she answered the door "who is it??" kaito asked from the other room but he get no answer curious and worried he walks towards the door but no one was there except angel's shoes "Angel!!!!" he runs outside looking for her screaming and crying but couldn't find her he runs down the lanes but had no clue worried he run down to the club to talk to Samuel "What!!! They took your daughter…. Ok, you go to the police I'll ask around" kaito and Samuel left the club looking for angel kaito went to police station an tell them about his problem but the cops just bump him off "she must be around the block wait a few more hours she will come back" it's like they were paid off defeated kaito leave the station as he went back to his place, he says angel on the front door crying kaito rushed towards her he grabs her and hugs her tightly "are you ok ?? what happened ??"she didn't say anything but keeps on crying "c'mon you can tell me" she stopped crying but still weeping then In stuttering voice she says "a badman took me he told me that he will hurt you next if we didn't leave the place, he…he also touched me" this breaks kaito's heart files it with rage and anger "its ok baby everything will be alright…..no one will hurt us (I won't let them)" he says The next day, at club velvet "Damnit…. I should have told you about this before it could happen…." Samuel says in disappointment and guilt, "Told me what?" kaito asks, "There are some goons that want your place they also bothered your parents before you, but they always rejected then one day, they just died" As Samuel says this, it makes Kaito's head ring "did they killed my parents??" Kaito asked "I don't know, maybe they did, maybe it was an accident, I can't tell you" As they were talking, a group of goons entered the club they were messing around and laughing and making a scene, then one of them spotted Kaito "AH!! You are still here?" goon said, Kaito turns around and asked "you talking to me?", "Yes, you…. fool, who do you think I am talking to? Maybe I was too soft on your little girl. Don't worry, be gone by tomorrow, or I will pick her up again, you hear me?" These words made kaito more furious in rage he clutches a fist which was get noticed by the goon "oh...look guys daddy here I getting angry! What you going to do hit me huh!?" kaito stood there he takes a quick look around and decided not to engage he tilts his head down and walked away "yeah that right….now be sure to leave by tomorrow" the goon shouts at kaito from behind, the same night the goons left the club completely drunk as they were walking towards their car the noticed that someone has knifed the tires they looked around but on one was there and suddenly all his men started to disappear one by one it's like a ghost was talking them all out, the goon was drunk but he was now super spooked and scared , in fear he started walking backwards and suddenly he bumped into something he turned around and saw a man a masked men in ,military tights and combat boots and combat gloves the goon tries to attack him but the masked man easy counter it and breaks his arm once on the ground the masked men continues to breaks the goons limbs one by one screaming in pain the man asked "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!!!" , the masked men grabs him by his collar and replied "I am your worst nightmare!!" and knocks him out in just one punch after talking out all the goons the masked men takes his mask off to breath and it turs out to be kaito, he then quickly flee the scenes thinking that he got away with it except Samuel saw him "Kaito??" Samuel whispers in the distance.
