The Web of Deceit

Lian Zheng's eyes narrowed as he studied Olivia's proposal. He knew that he had to be careful, that she was hiding something from him. But he also knew that he had no choice.

He nodded, his eyes locked on Olivia's. "Let's do it," he said. "Let's take them down."

Olivia's smile grew wider. "Excellent," she said. "I knew you'd see things my way."

As they began to discuss the details of their plan, Lian Zheng's instincts screamed at him to be cautious. He knew that Olivia was hiding something from him, that she had an ulterior motive for helping him.

But he also knew that he had no choice. He had to take a chance, to trust her if he wanted to survive.

As they finalized their plan, Lian Zheng's phone buzzed with an unfamiliar number. He hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Hello?" he said, his voice firm and commanding.

"CEO Lian Zheng," a mysterious voice said on the other end of the line. "You're playing with fire. You think you can take down the people who are trying to destroy Golden Dragon Enterprises? You're wrong. They're too powerful, too ruthless. They'll crush you like an insect."

Lian Zheng's eyes narrowed. "Who is this?" he demanded.

"You'll find out soon enough," the voice responded. "But for now, let's just say that I'm a friend. A friend who's trying to warn you."

The line went dead, and Lian Zheng was left staring at his phone in puzzlement. Who was this mysterious stranger, and what did they want from him?

As he looked up, he saw Olivia watching him, her eyes glinting with amusement. "It seems that we have a new player in the game," she said. "Someone who's trying to warn us off."

Lian Zheng's eyes narrowed. "What do you think they want?" he asked.

Olivia shrugged. "I don't know," she said. "But I do know one thing. We can't trust them. We can't trust anyone."
