The Betrayal

Lian Zheng's eyes narrowed as he listened to Wang Dong's words. He knew that the board of directors was planning to betray him, but he had no idea how to stop them.

"What do you suggest I do?" Lian Zheng asked, his voice firm and commanding.

Wang Dong hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I think you should call an emergency meeting with the board of directors," he said. "Confront them about their betrayal and try to negotiate a deal."

Lian Zheng's instincts screamed at him to be cautious. He knew that Wang Dong was hiding something from him, that he was playing both sides against each other.

But he also knew that he had no choice. He had to take a chance, to trust Wang Dong if he wanted to survive.

"Okay," Lian Zheng said, his voice firm and commanding. "Let's do it. Let's call the meeting and confront them."

Wang Dong nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "I'll take care of it," he said. "I'll make sure everything is ready for the meeting."

Lian Zheng's eyes narrowed. He knew that Wang Dong was up to something, that he was playing a deeper game.

But he also knew that he had no choice. He had to trust Wang Dong, at least for now.
