Vol 1 Chapter 10 [Death Prequel] (2k word)

The sun is starting to set, signaling that the moon is coming. As far as the eye can see, the rice fields were originally green. It has been stained with the orange color of the sun. The leaves are falling. Autumn has come. Art i.e. Autumn.

"Humu."

It's been 3 months since Michael started teaching at the Greyrat residence. With my [Omni-Aptidude] it will definitely make me like a world class artist in just 3 months. You do not believe? Look at my paintings. The village view emphasizes the beauty of autumn afternoons, with sunsets that give a touch of mystical feeling.

"Hehe, this work is very good. I will include it in the William Collection: Autumn Season Series, with the title: Fall'in Dusk."

"Wow, as expected of Will-kun. Your painting this time is really beautiful." Victoria peeked from behind me to see my painting.

In these 3 months a lot has changed. Victoria, who used to be energetic and very active, has become like a poetic woman. She recently looks calm and focused on studying painting.

"What's wrong Will-kun?"

"It's okay" It's a bit strange for me to see that in just 3 months it can change like that.

Moreover, Victoria, who is actually the same age as me, turns out to be very talented in the arts. He was even able to rival me, who is this most talented human.

"Sasuga my god, in just a short time you can create a masterpiece like this."

"This is nothing compared to your painting Michael-sensei."

The more I studied, the more I felt that I couldn't compete with Michael. Victoria also praised him as the GOAT of Arts.

"Hahaha of course! No one can paint better than me, Michael da Vinci." Michael laughed with a grin on his face.

"How is yours, Vii-chan?" I asked, ignoring Michael.

"Fufu Vii has just finished the masterpiece that Vii has been making 2 weeks ago, look and be amazed {The Ambiguity of God}!"

Victoria showed me her painting which depicted me in a white dress sitting under a tree smiling faintly with a touch of blush on my cheeks looking from a downward perspective. On the tree trunks I saw squirrels and small birds looking, bowing down at me.

"Ohh T-this is really great! The painting with a low angle that makes William-kun look from a high perspective, and the animals behind him who bow down in respect make it even more emphasized that William-kun is a holy figure. The white dress he is wearing and the blush on his face make us feel the ambiguity between his beauty and his good looks. I can only say that this is really... BEAUTIFUL!"

Michael stared intently at Victoria's painting with eyes shining with madness and gasped.

Anu Why do you two love to make me a god?

"Vii is sure that Michael-sensei will understand this, Vii entrusts this Masterpiece to you Michael-sensei. It's time Vii to go home." Victoria folded her arms proudly and handed the painting to Michael.

This was all because Victoria's father always sold the paintings that Victoria brought home. Therefore, all of Victoria's work was entrusted to Michael to protect it from being stolen and sold again by Victoria's father.

"Remember, don't do anything to this painting!!" Victoria glared sharply.

"Don't worry, Victoria, I will take good care of this." Michael swallowed nervously.

"You crazy people who worship William, Goddess Roxy is definitely better," muttered Rudeus seeing Victoria and Michael's behavior.

No No, why you all create a cult like this? And the founder of the religion in my cult was only a 3 year old child?

"Will-kun, Vii go home first, okay?" Victoria shouted excitedly and waved her hands and ran back to her house.

"Yes, be careful!" I replied waving my hand.

Yes, even though in the past 3 months she looks like a poetic woman and became the founder of a cult together with Michael. In the end she was just a kid having fun.

If I think about it, Victoria started creating the Will of God cult with me as the god when Michael was the teacher here. From the start, Michael always called me a god, so it's all Michael's fault for making Victoria like that.

After I thought that, I then kicked Michael's leg who was standing next to me.

*Thud! *

"Ouch! Why did you kick me William-kun?" Michael held his kicked leg and looked at me in confusion.

"This is all your fault."

"Will-niisan is just like a girl, his mood is always irregular," Rudeus muttered, watching my interaction with Michael.

*Smack! * *Smack! * *Smack! * *Thud! * *Thud! *

"You Brutal Tyrant..."

"Why was I also getting hit..."

Ignoring their groans, I then left, leaving Rudeus and Michael who were battered and unconscious in the yard.

*******

*Thud!*

"Hey Will Focus! why did you make a beginner's mistake like that?" Paul slashed my sword until it flew out of my hand.

"Sorry..." I then took back the sword that had fallen on the ground.

"Huph!"

I then ran towards the side of Paul's lower abdomen to stab him, but Paul quickly brushed it aside. While I was losing my balance, Paul kicked me in the waist while I was caught off guard.

"Ugh!" Paul's kick was so hard it made me feel as if I was suffocating.

'You're crazy, how could a father kick his 3 year old child this hard.'

"What's wrong with you today? Why can't you dodge such a simple attack?"

"...."

Seeing that I was silent, Paul scratched his head and said, "That's enough for today's training, you can rest." Paul then left me and went to make out with Zenith.

"Ehehehe Dear~"

Ignoring Paul's usual behavior, I lay staring at the afternoon sky which was dark because it was covered in clouds.

"Ouch, I'm going to get gout in my side if I kick this hard," I groaned holding the marks from Paul's kick.

"Victoria hasn't been here for more than a week..."

That's right, Victoria hasn't been here for more than a week. The child who comes here almost every day but she hasn't come here for more than a week. I'm worried about her. Moreover, I overheard a neighbor's conversation that there was a big fight at Victoria's house yesterday.

In the village, someone's disgrace will definitely spread quickly because for them it is a form of entertainment, to talk about something, whether it is someone's good or bad, is fun according to my analysis from a reliable gossip in this village. So be careful if you live in the village. If you don't, your disgrace will spread.

Back to topic. The point is, it seems like there was a big fight at Victoria's house. I'm worried that Victoria's father is acting badly again.

'Haah, I'm just a child after all. It's not good to interfere in other people's family affairs if you can't be responsible.' I thought looking at the sky which was getting dark.

"William-kun! William-kun! This is bad!" Michael's voice screamed frantically and ran towards me.

"What's wrong Michael-sensei?"

"Huff...Huff...V-victoria Victoria!"

"Calm down Michael-sensei, what's wrong with Vii-chan?" For some reason I have a bad feeling.

"Victoria was sold into slavery by her father!"

"What!?"

Hearing Michael's words surprised me and I couldn't believe what I heard.

"T-there's no way his father would do something like that..."

"It's true! I heard what his father said earlier at the village center bar!"

Without thinking, I immediately ran to Victoria's house to confirm the truth.

"William-kun where are you going?"

Ignoring Michael's screams, I continued running to Victoria's house.

'Lies...none of this is definitely not true...Victoria is definitely still at home with her mother.'

"Huff...Huff"

After running for 15 minutes, I finally arrived at Victoria's door. Victoria's house looked like a shack and looked like it would collapse at any moment. Even so, the house looks well maintained and clean. Unlike other village people, Victoria's mother is a diligent person and one of the rare people in the village who likes to pay attention to cleanliness.

Standing in front of his door, I knocked on the door and called,

*Knock! *x2

"Vii-chan!"

After waiting for a while there was still no answer. I tried calling her again and for some reason I smelled iron from inside.

*Knock! *x2

"Vii-chan!"

Still no answer from inside, I tried pushing the door and it turned out the door wasn't locked. Finally I dared to open the door. After opening the door, the smell of iron that I could faintly smell from outside became even stronger.

*Creaak! *

"Wh...?!"

The view inside was something I had never seen in real life in either the past or present world. I've only seen that sight in gore films that my friends often watch.

Victoria's mother leaned against the wall with a sad face and traces of tears mixed with blood running down her cheeks. She hugged the dress that Victoria often wore which was stained with blood. She hugged the dress with a knife stuck in her chest. Blood flowed through the gauze, which was initially olive yellow and became dark red.

"H-how could it be like this...."

I frantically tried to approach and examine the wound to apply healing magic, but it was too late. His pulse no longer pulsed and his muscles began to harden.

"Burp~ Ahh I should have done this a long time ago~ My debts are paid off and I can buy expensive alcohol like this. Hehe it turns out that damn kid is worth quite a bit when i sells it~"

"Huh? Why are you here, brat? Hicc!"

Hearing the words of this bastard called Victoria's father, I slowly turned around and saw his drunken figure with his face red and holding an alcohol bottle. The smell of blood and alcohol mixed in the room made me feel nauseous.

The beast man looked back at me and then was shocked to see what was behind me, "W-what ARE you DOING!?"

The beast man grabbed my collar and lifted me up to face level. It made my throat tighten, but I ignored it and said angrily, "Where's Victoria..."

"I SHOULD be the one asking here!" shouted the animal man with spittle splashing in my face.

I ignored it all and kept asking, "Where is Victoria..."

"HAH! How dare you ignore me!" The animal man tightened his grip even more.

"Kuhh...Where...Victoria." Even though her grip was getting tighter, I kept trying and kept asking where Victoria was.

Looking at me who was still stubborn and didn't want to give up, the beast man then smiled and whispered in front of my face with his smelly breath,

"Hehehe I sold it! It was quite difficult to find a slave trader who wanted to buy it, so I sold it to an illegal slave trader. Luckily, she was quite beautiful and learned to paint. So I could sell it for a lot of money."

The beast man continued to laugh in front of me with his mouth agape. Hearing that, I glared at him sharply and clenched my fists so tightly that blood began to flow from my hands without realizing it.

I then channeled my magic into my hands to create fireball magic with a very high temperature that even my hands were scalded by it.

Then I put my fireball magic into that bastard's gaping mouth.

"AKHKHHH!!!"

The beast man screamed loudly. His mouth, gums, tongue melted due to my fireball magic. There was a smell of burning flesh throughout the room.

"....!!"

The beast man glared at me with his face already in a very disgusting condition. His eyes were red and blood was flowing from them. The skin on his face was melting, making him look like a burnt plastic doll. He couldn't even make a sound anymore because all the parts in his throat had melted and joined together in a very irregular and disgusting way.

I continued to stare coldly at the beast man who continued to writhe in pain on the ground and tried to breathe from his already disordered flesh mouth.

"....!!"

*Thud! *

The beast man ended his life in a way that was very fitting for him. Writhing in pain and even peeing in his pants.

"So this is what killing feels like...it feels like when I kill cats and rabbit when I experiment my healing magic."

"Ugh."

The whole room was now very smelly with the smell of burnt flesh, rotten smell, and the smell of urine mixed together making me very nauseous.

I then burned the bodies of Victoria's mother and her father along with their houses to remove my traces. In this world, if the corpse is not burned, then the corpse will turn into a zombie-type monster.

I burned Victoria's mother's corpse first because I felt bad if I let it burn with that bastard.

"Auntie...I will definitely find Victoria."

After finishing burning Victoria's mother's corpse, I kicked the animal man's corpse into the middle of the house and burned it along with the rest of the house.

"Where should I look for Victoria? I should torture that bastard first to tell me where the illegal slave trader is."

While I was confused about where to look, a small bird flew in front of me and pecked my forehead.

"H-hey."

The bird chirped then flapped its wings towards the forest as if leading me somewhere.

"Is the bird leading me?" My intuition told me that I should follow the bird. I then ran after the bird into the forest.

I continued following the bird for 2 hours, the sky was already dark, thunder was rumbling, raindrops were dripping onto my face. The forest was already very dark so I had to use light ball magic. My Mana condition already had 20/100 remaining.

My use of magic is still wasteful and I have used magic when killing that bastard, healing the burns on my hands, and for more than 1 hour I have been using light magic continuously.

The bird suddenly stopped and chirped at me again. I then approached the place where the bird stopped. After I illuminated the place, I saw something that really shocked me.

Her reptilian red eyes no longer had the light of life visible, her gray hair was messy and wet with mud, her tiny hand which used to hold a painting brush had been torn and was no longer visible. Even her internal organs were scattered around his body.

That's right, there lay Victoria's corpse, mutilated as if it had been eaten by a wild animal.

When I saw the condition of Victoria's body, my stomach felt like it was sore and empty. I felt like something was rising from my stomach to my throat.

*Blech! *

"S-still...not yet...I have to check first..." Throwing up the contents of my stomach, I approached Victoria's corpse and checked her condition.

I examined it tremblingly and without realizing it water flowed from my eyes. whether it was from the rain or from my tears, I no longer knew.

Holding her body turned out to be still warm, which means Victoria died not long ago. That means I still have time to save it.

"It's still warm! There's still hope!"

I still remember the route to get here and I still have mana reserves from 1 hour ago.

"I will definitely save you Victoria!" I then channeled mana into my hand to strengthen my hand, forming my hand like a knife and raised it and thrust it into my heart.

*Stab! *
