As Hampton the First stepped into his home, he was greeted by the warm smile of his wife, Mrs. Hampton the First. She looked up from her knitting, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Ooh, you're back," she said, rising from her seat to hug him.
Hampton the First hugged her back, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "I'm back, my dear," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
Mrs. Hampton the First pulled back, her eyes searching his face. "How was your journey?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Hampton the First took a deep breath, his expression serious. "I visited Jr at his mansion, and what I found there was astonishing."
Mrs. Hampton the First's eyes widened with curiosity. "What did you find?" she asked, her voice eager.
Hampton the First's face turned solemn. "Four young girls," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Mrs. Hampton the First's eyes went wide with shock. "What did you just say?" she exclaimed, her voice filled with incredulity.
Hampton the First took a deep breath, his eyes filled with sadness. "Three young girls, and one black girl. They're living with Jr, and their story is heartbreaking."
Mrs. Hampton the First's face fell, her eyes filling with tears. "Tell me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Hampton the First nodded, his expression serious. "The three girls were kidnapped and trafficked. They've been living in our forest, and Jr found them. The black girl, Bella, she's their guardian. She saved them, took care of them, and taught them how to survive."
Mrs. Hampton the First's eyes were wide with horror, her face pale with shock. "Oh, dear Lord," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
Hampton the First nodded, his eyes filled with sadness. "I know, my dear. It's a heartbreaking story. But Jr is determined to help them, to give them a better life."
Mrs. Hampton the First's face turned determined. "I need to meet them," she said, her voice firm.
Hampton the First nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "I'll arrange for you to meet them soon," he said, his voice filled with warmth.
As they sat together, holding hands, Hampton the First knew that his wife would be just as moved by the girls' story as he was. He was grateful for her compassion, her empathy, and her determination to help those in need. Together, they would support Jr in his mission to give the girls a better life.
