The translation was well done, and I genuinely liked how the main character trained with his Akuma no Mi. However, the protagonist himself is pathetic. At first, he turns into a lunatic obsessed with killing, and later—despite having the power to escape—he chooses to remain imprisoned out of fear, supposedly waiting for Luffy to arrive and free everyone. Even more absurd is how he somehow steals a guard’s ID and thrives in prison to the point of taking Shiryu's former position. Worse yet, the entire fanfic is essentially a copy of the canon, with only minor changes. The protagonist had countless opportunities to grow stronger and stand out but ended up as a side character who doesn’t change anything or contribute meaningfully. He forms a team of odd original characters who have no relevance to the story. What truly irritated me was when the protagonist forced himself into the Marineford War, claiming he had no choice and that it was the best scenario. Even more ridiculous is that, after years of training, mastering his Devil Fruit, and learning Rokushiki, he still hasn’t awakened Armament Haki. He ends up being humiliated by Kizaru and has to beg Whitebeard to save him—absolutely ridiculous. Even Luffy, who didn’t have Haki at the time, and Crocodile managed to participate in the war without being so pathetic. That scene left me completely discouraged. In the end, this fanfic presents a protagonist who, although intelligent enough to develop his powers and make decent plans, remains a cowardly side character who only wants to follow the canon without changing anything—ultimately becoming completely useless.
