Samwise was as ordinary as they come.
The kind of guy who blends into the background at high school parties or your mom’s second wedding.
At 27, he was living alone, an orphan, unmarried, kinda sick in the head, and carrying enough stress to fill his bathtub, except he didn’t even have a bathtub.
His life was like a dog on the street.
He kept convincing himself that everything shall pass, so he passed every fortunate thing in life.
Until one fateful night when he met his untimely demise, shot by a police officer who turned out to be a terrorist.
Then in the dark of a void, just when he thought it couldn’t get any worse, he was slapped by a glowing figure. “What the—?” he thought, before everything went blue, red, and white.
When he finally woke up, he found himself in the body of a newborn baby.
Yes, a baby! And not just any baby—this was a baby who had a mom he never got to meet. Cue the sad violin music.
But wait! Just when Sam thought he was destined for a life of diaper changes and baby food, a system popped up in his mind. He congratulated himself, as he thought:
“Finally, at the end of the journey, it is still the end of the journey.” He was set for life!!? To be the Main Character of his own story.
Yet, when he discovered the world he was living in, he was horrified.
Surprise, motherfck##, he had been reborn in the world of his favorite novel, Earth Against The Abyss. And while he loved the book, living in it was a whole different fetish entirely.
Set in a medieval dark age thing, humans were currently struggling against the Abyss, a terrible force set on conquering Earth and ushering in an era of chaos and death.
Not exactly the cozy life he had in mind.
“Will I survive?” he pondered, staring at his tiny baby hands. The odds were slim, but hey, at least there was a chance! So, what’s a simple guy to do? He decided to latch onto the MC team as their… Master?
“Wait a minute,” he thought, “I’m a baby! How am I supposed to be a Master?!”
But Sam was determined. He might be a baby, but he was a baby with a plan. “I’ll just charm my way into their hearts,” he said, practicing his best baby giggle. “Who could resist this adorable face?”
And so, with a mix of baby babble and sheer determination, Sam set off on his new adventure.
After all, if he was going to be the Master of his own story, he might as well do it with an innocent smile—and maybe a few well-timed coos.
Coos, coos, coos…
Hello everyone, I'm here, the author of this novel! I really like cultivation novels, especially those with unique systems. To differentiate my work from traditional Xianxia out there, I’ve named the warriors "Transcendence" instead of "Cultivators." As you may have guessed from the synopsis alone, this story follows a common trope: a reincarnated character, Samwise from Earth, who is born into the novel world of Earth Against the Abyss, gain a system. While it’s still called Earth, this world is filled with Nirvana (Kind of similar to Chi or Qi in Cultivation Novel but also having different concept) and features many struggles against the armies of demons and creepy creatures from the Abyssal Dimension. The story has a vast background and many genuine, creative ideas that I’ve developed myself. All things aside, I actually owe a lot to my AE, who guided me in the right direction and helped shape the story into what you see now. I’m 95% confident that this story is good enough to rank highly on Webnovel. At least, that’s my opinion; no offense intended, alright! The system in this story is unique (For me at least); and it’s called the Energy Catalyst System. This system collects orbs of emotions from people affected by Kyren’s actions. Currently, there are four types of emotion orbs, each with different uses that can be exchanged in their respective stores. For example, Joy Points can only be exchanged in the Joy Store, and so on. If you want to know more about the story, I encourage you to read it, read it, and read it some more! Just don't puke from that... If you have any questions, critiques, or genuine feedback to help me improve further as an author, I will seriously consider it. You can trust me for that. Your input is magnificently valuable to me, and I appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thank you! Anyway, that’s all from me for now. Ciao, and enjoy your reading!
Common tropes, but it's slightly different in a few parts. so far, the character is fleshed well enough. But too little chapters. Need more to actually judge it fairly. I'll wait for now. Please don't drop this novel author. It's a good story so far.
Who is Val identity? It's not yet revealed. Many hints of what to come or to be expected, but still vague. I'm curious where this story gone later. I'll waited for more chapter...
It's good starter. I add this for now. Let's continue when you gain a hundred chapter first before a real review.
Not bad. The idea is solid, characters are intriguing, story development isn't too fast, nor too slow. Stay this way and don't add too much narration, as it will quickly bore many readers. Not everyone has time to think too much. That is basically the essence of a web novel. Nothing in my mind for critics except your updating schedule was a mess and rather slow. Overall, it's quite a good novel. Just don't mess it up in the middle. Keep it up!!!
