The Arrival of Supremacy

A few days after their fierce sparring sessions with Guy Crimson, Yuuya and Velzard finally decided it was time to leave the Ice Continent and head for Tempest. The decision was not made lightly—the icy fortress had become their haven, filled with both ferocious battles and intimate moments. But Tempest was waiting, and Yuuya had plans.

The morning they were set to leave, Guy stood at the castle's entrance, arms crossed, his crimson eyes gleaming with a rare glimmer of warmth beneath his usual cocky grin. Beside him stood his ever-loyal maids, Misery and Rain, their usual stoic expressions softened slightly after spending so much time around Yuuya and Velzard.

Guy smirked, his voice dripping with playful arrogance.

"So, you're really leaving, huh?" He arched a brow.

"Heh. You sure you don't want to stick around a bit longer? I still owe you a beating from our last match."

Yuuya chuckled, shaking his head.

"You mean the match where I mopped the floor with you? I'll pass for now." He grinned confidently, his golden eyes flashing with mischief.

"But don't worry, Guy. I'll come back when you're ready to lose again."

Velzard gracefully approached Guy, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. Her cool, piercing gaze softened slightly, and her icy lips curved into a rare smile.

"Don't be to reckless while we're gone, Guy."

Guy snorted, pretending to be offended, but his eyes gleamed with genuine affection.

"Hah! You talk like I'd ever lose for real." He flicked his hair back dramatically, then added with a teasing grin.

"Besides… if you two don't come back, who am I supposed to fight? Milim? Pfft. She's too reckless. And I get bored fighting Misery and Rain all the time."

Misery and Rain shot him a deadpan glare and thought "We're standing right here, you know."

Velzard let out a soft laugh, and Yuuya smirked, walking over to clasp Guy's arm firmly in a show of camaraderie.

"Don't worry, Crimson. We'll be back soon." His voice grew slightly more serious, his eyes gleaming with faint anticipation.

"After all… I have a feeling there'll be plenty of fights waiting for us soon."

Guy's eyes narrowed slightly, catching the subtle edge in Yuuya's tone.

"Hmph. You always were a cryptic bastard." He smirked, but his gaze remained sharp and thoughtful.

With one final glance, Yuuya and Velzard took to the skies, their majestic forms cutting through the frozen winds, leaving behind the Ice Continent and their chaotic sparring sessions.

Back in Tempest, the entire city was buzzing with excitement. The preparations for the first-ever Tempest Tournament were in full swing.

Rimuru Tempest, the Demon Lord of Tempest, stood with his trusted generals—Benimaru, Diablo, and Souei—in the war room of his castle. They were gathered around a large map, discussing the security measures for the upcoming event.

Benimaru, with his arms crossed, spoke in a calm but commanding tone.

"We'll need to double the patrols around the outer perimeter. With so many adventurers and nobles attending, we can't afford any lapses in security."

Souei, leaning slightly forward, added in his cold, emotionless voice.

"I've placed my shadows along the key vantage points. If anyone attempts to sneak in undetected, they'll be dealt with immediately."

Diablo, standing slightly to the side, his devilish smirk playing at his lips, let out a low chuckle.

"Heh… I almost hope someone tries. It would be such a shame if we didn't get to… stretch our legs a little." His scarlet eyes gleamed with unrestrained delight.

Rimuru, standing at the head of the table, nodded with satisfaction, pleased with their preparations.

"Good. The dungeon is fully operational. Adventurers will get to test their skills, and the unique item drops should draw in even more explorers."

He smiled lightly, imagining the positive influx of trade and the growing reputation of Tempest. Everything was proceeding perfectly.

But then…

Without warning, Tempest was engulfed in a sudden and overwhelming aura. The air grew heavy, yet it wasn't chaotic or oppressive—it was majestic and all-encompassing. It felt as though the world itself was holding its breath.

Benimaru's eyes widened as he gripped the hilt of his sword instinctively.

"What the…?"

Souei's expression stiffened, his sharp eyes narrowing.

"An unknown aura? No…" His voice trailed off, realization dawning.

"It feels… familiar. But…"

Diablo's eyes gleamed with recognition, his sinister grin widening with pure delight.

"Oh-ho-ho… I know this aura." His voice dropped into a low, hungry purr.

"It's him."

Rimuru's eyes narrowed slightly, and he exhaled through his nose.

"So… they're finally here."

The streets of Tempest came to a halt as the citizens froze, feeling the majestic aura wash over them. The monsters, adventurers, and visitors alike all stared skyward, their eyes filled with awe and reverence.

The sky above Tempest suddenly split open as if the heavens themselves were torn asunder, and two figures emerged, shimmering with divine majesty.

Yuuya Tenjou and Velzard soared into view, their figures bathed in ethereal light, illuminating the sky like two celestial deities descending from the heavens.

Yuuya's golden eyes glimmered with calm supremacy, and Velzard's icy sapphire gaze radiated majestic elegance. The air shimmered around them, glimmering with trails of frost and starlight.

The Tempest citizens stared in awe, unable to breathe for a moment. The supremacy of their presence was overwhelming, divine, and absolute.

Rimuru smirked slightly, watching them descend.

"Tch. Showoff." He shook his head, but a small smile tugged at his lips.

As Yuuya and Velzard gently landed at the castle gates, Rimuru and his generals approached.

Yuuya's eyes locked onto Rimuru's, and with a playful smirk, he spoke.

"We're here, Rimuru. I hope you prepared a nice place for us."

Rimuru chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head.

"Heh… Well, we did our best. But with the way you're making an entrance, maybe I should've built you your own kingdom instead."

Velzard smiled softly, leaning into Yuuya's side, her icy presence contrasting with his warmth.

"You'll find we're not very picky," she teased softly.

Diablo, his scarlet eyes twinkling, bowed elegantly.

"Lord Yuuya… Lady Velzard… Welcome to Tempest."

With a smirk of satisfaction, Yuuya took Velzard's hand, and together, they stepped into Tempest.

Tempest

Yuuya and Velzard followed Rimuru, Benimaru, and Diablo as they made their way through the streets of Tempest toward their new residence. The streets were bustling with activity, but when the citizens spotted Yuuya and Velzard, they stopped in their tracks. Whispers of awe spread quickly—rumors of the mysterious figures had already made their way around the world, and now, Tempest was their home.

Children stared wide-eyed, and adventurers gazed in disbelief, feeling the majestic presence of the two beings walking through their city. Monsters lowered their heads respectfully, sensing the sheer authority radiating from Yuuya and the divine chill emanating from Velzard.

As they approached their new home, Yuuya's eyes widened slightly, and Velzard's lips parted in surprise, both of them taking in the breathtaking structure before them.

The residence was nothing short of a majestic castle, yet it retained a refined elegance, blending Eastern and Western architecture seamlessly. The main building had a traditional Japanese aesthetic, with graceful sloping rooftops, elegant wooden pillars, and shoji sliding doors. There was a large stone courtyard with cherry blossoms scattered around, their petals drifting softly in the wind.

A tranquil koi pond glimmered in the garden, with a small arched bridge over it, and nearby was a spacious open-air Japanese bath, surrounded by pristine stones and bamboo fencing.

The interior was equally magnificent. The entrance hall opened into a grand living area with high ceilings, lavish crystal chandeliers, and elegant furnishings. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings, and the windows were expansive, offering scenic views of Tempest.

The bedrooms were spacious and luxurious, each with a private balcony overlooking the forest. The bathhouse was designed like a luxurious onsen, with steam rising delicately from the hot spring water, offering an ethereal atmosphere.

Yuuya's golden eyes widened slightly, clearly impressed.

"Damn…" he muttered under his breath, his eyes scanning the intricate details.

He turned to Rimuru, smirking slightly.

"I gotta say… you really outdid yourself, Rimuru."

Velzard's eyes sparkled with genuine admiration as she gazed around. She ran her fingers lightly along the wooden framework, appreciating the craftsmanship.

"It's beautiful," she murmured softly, turning to Rimuru with a faint smile.

"You've truly created a masterpiece here."

Rimuru chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head.

"Heh. Well, I did have some help." He gestured toward Benimaru and Diablo, both standing with satisfied smirks.

"I figured if you and Velzard were going to live here, I couldn't just stick you in some mansion. You deserved something fitting of your status."

Benimaru crossed his arms, his crimson eyes gleaming with pride.

"We put a lot of effort into the design, but honestly, I wasn't sure if it would meet your standards."

**Diablo, ever the elegant demon, gave a slight bow, his sinister yet charming smile in place.

"Of course, I made sure every inch of this place exudes grace and luxury. Only the best for Lord Yuuya and Lady Velzard."

Yuuya chuckled softly, sensing Diablo's usual flair for dramatics.

"I appreciate the effort. It's perfect."

Rimuru smiled slightly, then glanced at Velzard, noticing the rare softness in her expression.

"I'll let you two enjoy your new place," he said with a casual wave.

"I'll come back later to check in."

Before leaving, Rimuru turned to a group of Tempest maids, led by Shuna, a charming woman with gentle, amber eyes and short chestnut hair.

"Shuna, make sure they're well taken care of. Bring them the finest food and drinks we have."

Shuna bowed gracefully, her voice gentle.

"Of course, my lord. We'll prepare a grand feast."

As Rimuru, Benimaru, and Diablo departed, Yuuya and Velzard strolled through their new home, taking in the tranquil beauty of the gardens and the elegant ambiance of the interiors.

Far away from the peaceful splendor of Tempest, dark forces were conspiring.

In the Eastern Empire, Emperor Rudra sat on his throne, his face calm and composed, but beneath the surface, he was slowly losing himself.

Unknown to Velgrynd, his beloved companion, Rudra was falling deeper under the control of his Ultimate Skill: Michael. The once brilliant and calculating emperor was gradually being corrupted, his free will slipping away.

Feldway, who was hidden in the shadows, watched with a sinister glimmer in his eyes.

"Everything is proceeding perfectly," he muttered quietly, his thin lips curling into a wicked smile.

"Soon… the pieces will be in place, and the return of Veldanava will be inevitable."

Despite her keen senses, Velgrynd had yet to notice the subtle changes in Rudra. To her, his occasional coldness was simply a byproduct of his burden as an emperor. She remained devoted and vigilant, unaware that she was losing him piece by piece.

Meanwhile, on the western side of the Cardinal World, Granbell Rosso and his granddaughter, Mariabell Rosso, were scheming in the shadows.

Granbell, seated in his dimly lit study, swirled a glass of wine idly as he gazed at a map of Ruberios spread across the table. His eyes gleamed with cold calculation.

"The attack on Ruberios will be swift," he murmured.

"While the demons are distracted with the Tempest Tournament, we'll strike at their core."

Across from him, Mariabell sat with a serene smile, her piercing blue eyes devoid of emotion. She held a small crystal orb, glowing faintly with malicious energy.

"And while you stage your assault on Ruberios," she said softly, her voice deceptively sweet,

"I will unleash the Chaos Dragon upon Tempest."

Granbell's eyes narrowed slightly, intrigued by her words.

"The Chaos Dragon, hmm?" He arched a brow.

"And you're certain you can control it?"

Mariabell's smile widened, her eyes glimmering with sadistic glee.

"Of course. It's nothing but a mindless beast now—a hollow shell of Milim's old pet, resurrected with forbidden magic. With my skill, I can easily direct it toward Tempest."

She clasped her hands together lightly, almost giddy with excitement.

"Once it tears through Tempest, their so-called tournament will be reduced to rubble. And while Rimuru and his forces are busy dealing with that abomination, you'll strike at Ruberios and steal the body hidden beneath Luminous' castle."

Granbell smirked darkly, his fingers tightening around his glass.

"The body with unimaginable power… yes…" he whispered.

Little did they know, the "body" they sought was none other than Chloe O'Bell, the True Hero—her slumbering form protected by Luminous in the depths of Ruberios.

The storm was brewing, and while Tempest celebrated its new era of prosperity, darkness stirred in the shadows, threatening to plunge the world into chaos once again.
