"Lights, camera, action!"
In the Exam Orientation room, the lights on the ceiling flickered to life, which caused the examinees to sit up straight.
"Finally." Katsuki grumbled, sitting up from his chair. "I was wondering what took them so long."
To his right was Momo, and that annoying bastard, Yuki, and to his left was just a bunch of 'extras'.
Suddenly, a thought from Yuki caused both Momo and Hanami to glance in his direction.
Momo grinned. "Do it." she whispered to him.
Hanami, sitting in the lower seats, shook her head with a smile. You are me, and I am you... what I troll I am....
Yuki grinned while Momo giggled by his side, covering her lips with the palm of her hand.
Katsuki, who was staring at the two, had an irritated expression on his face. Why were those two so close together? What were they talking about? He had the temptation to pull Momo away, but...
He shook his head, looking at the two, before turning forward to face the stage. Inside, however, there was anger growing.
Yuki, you better not think anything about Momo...
There, on the stage, was a tall slim man with long blond hair, spiked upwards. He was wearing his Hero costume consisting of a black jacket, with a tall collar. He also has a pair of headphones on his head much to Yuki's approval.
Yuki stared up at the Hero with a smile, oh yeah, G, another Hero whose quirk affects their voice. Nice~
The person in front of the crowd was Hizashi Yamada, also known to the world as the Voice Hero, Present Mic!
Present Mic lowered his orange shades, surveying the crowd of examinees with his eyes. He grinned, and spread his arms out. "What's up, and welcome to UA, you lucky candidates! Thanks for tuning into me, yooouuur School DJ~!" His voice was naturally loud with his quirk, as he greeted the others with enthusiasm.
"You guys are ready to rock? Let me hear ya!" Present Mic pressed a hand near his ear, an upbeat smile on his face.
The smile somewhat fell a bit when nobody greeted back.
In front of him, some students, including Tsubasa and Kirito, laughed at the silence in the room.
Present Mic's eye twitched. Geez. Rough crowd today, huh?
Of course, he handled this situation as a pro. He spun and pointed at the crowd. "Huh? Keeping it mello-"
And that was when it happened, a student in the crowd with silver hair stood up. This action caused many heads to swerve in the boy's direction.
The room fell silent, Present Mic also paused in his speech, looking at the boy with interest. What was he going to do?
"The hell are you?" Katsuki blinked.
"Yuki?" Izuku asked, Kirito and Tsubasa stared with puzzlement written on their faces.
Momo grinned. "Drop the beat."
In front of the crowd, Yuki wasn't shy at all. He lowered his scarf revealing the marks on his cheeks, and then he spoke.
"{Amplify Voice}."
Izuku gave a wry smile, "Oh, boy. Here it comes..."
Yuki then coughed and raised his arms to the crowd with a big grin. "GOOOOOOOD MORNING MY FELLOW EXAMINEES! ARE YOU READY TO ROCK 'N ROLL? {CHEER} IF YOU DO!" just like Present Mic's voice, Yuki's voice sounded out in the room with a boom!
Present Mic's jaw dropped.
And then, to his astonishment, the students who were just sitting in silence, had stood up and waved their hands in the air!
They erupted! Cheering so loudly that one would assume they were attending a superstar's concert!
"I'm ready to go!"
"Hell yeah, I'm ready!"
"This is going to be awesome!"
But that didn't satisfy, Yuki, the boy waved his arms and struck a pose, with his left arm under his right. His hands forming the famous 'Rock and Roll' hand signs.
"I said, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!" Yuki screamed.
The crowd was going wild now. They were jumping, pumping their fists into the air, their voices intertwining into a musical melody!
Their cheers were so loud that the walls of the room vibrated from just their sound alone.
"Whoohoo~" Himiko jumped up and down, smiling while recording this scene on her phone. Her eyes glittered, so cool~.
Tsubasa and Kirito slung an arm over each other's shoulder, the two were swaying with the biggest grins.
"YEAH!" Momo punched the air, Katsuki grinning beside her. He looked at Yuki with rolled eyes.
Damn. What a show off...
But seeing Momo smile, Katsuki felt that it was a bit worth it.
Present Mic stared at the kid and the uproar in front of him. He grinned, stars bursting from his eyes. Kid, not bad. Not bad at all! With a thumbs up to Yuki, he danced to the side, and then pointed a finger at the crowd.
He opened his mouth, "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! NOW, ARE YOU GUYS READY!!!"
This time, the crowd reacted with joy and excitement in their voices. Responding to their speaker with the same amount of energy that he had.
Yuki chuckled, silently turned off the command, as the students returned back to normal.
The students soon quieted down, as they went back to their seats. Some were a bit confused on why they acted so suddenly, but they still had that smile on their faces.
It was so exciting!
More hyped up, Present Mic started speaking again. "YAAAAAH! Now let me present you to our main show on how this Practical Exam is about to go!"
"Like your application says, today you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting 10-minute mock battles in different areas!"
Present Mic smirked as the large screen lit up behind him, causing the students to lean forward in their chairs.
On the screen, it showed where they currently are right now, which was the Exam Orientation Room, and above that, going in different areas, were sections classified by letters, going from A to G!
Izuku was frantically taking notes, his eyes going from the screen to his notebook as his pencil flew across the page.
"Now. Here is how it goes! Each of you has been given a letter, and whatever that letter is will be your specified battle center!" Present Mic lifted a card up. "You can find your letter in the folder that you have all received after the written test, on your Exam Ticket!"
Opening up their folders, each student had a serious face.
"Battle Center A for me..." Katsuki said.
"Oh, me too." Momo's voice came.
At this, Katsuki turned his head so fast that Kirito, Izuku, and Tsubasa were shocked that it wasn't broken at the speed he shifted!
He smirked. "Well, I'll be damned. Looks like luck is on my side today."
Momo tilted her head. What does that mean?
"I-I'm in Battle Center B." Izuku stuttered.
"Nobody asked for your location!" Katsuki barked at Izuku.
Izuku: "..."
Yuki rubbed his chin in thought. He stared at his Exam Ticket, listed below was his test location, and that was...
"Alright." Yuki smirked. "Looks like the D is for me!"
He paused, eyes slowly widening when he finally realized what he had just said.
"Yo~" Kirito looked over with wide eyes.
"Yuki! I didn't know you..." Tsubasa teasingly glanced at the Speech User.
Mechamaru, Hanami, and Katsuki were silent, smirking in their seats with crossed arms.
Well, smirking mentally for Mechamaru, since the robot's face can't express much emotion...
"Sister?" Ibara stared at her twin with an odd expression. Why was she smirking like that?
But Hanami kept silent, just smirking with amusement.
Himiko's eyes wandered over to Yuki. She also heard what he said, was he one of those kind of boys? The kind of boys that get 'together-together?' Himiko clapped her hands with wonder. She was learning so much about her friends!
Izuku lightly blushed, just staring at his Exam Ticket. "..."
"... Shit!" Yuki panicked. "You guys, calm down! I mean I got Battle Center D! The letter D, ya know! I'm going to the D!"
Katsuki, the boy known for yelling so much, was silent, a trace of understanding plastered on his face. He closed his eyes, refusing to look in Yuki's direction.
And then he chuckled.
Momo, who was secretly laughing, turned to Katsuki with a giggle. "C'mon, Katsuki, why are you smirking like that? That's honestly so not cute and it's disrespectful as shit..."
Katsuki just smirked.
"Screw you, Katsuki!" Yuki yelled with a raised fist.
Katsuki still didn't move or respond.
"What?" Yuki raised his arms to the side, an embarrassed and angry expression on his face. "You got nothing to say?!"
"... You're cooked..." Katsuki squinted with that same smirk.
"?!!!" as much as Yuki wanted to tear Katsuki a new one, he couldn't afford to cause any trouble today. And the last thing that he wants to do is to fail the real test before it even began!
Yuki slumped back with crossed arms. Grumbling to himself with a pout. "It was Battle Center D. I just said it's name..." he looked like a kicked puppy much to Katsuki's enjoyment.
Finally, that punk finally got what he deserves for his bullshit. Hehehe. Katsuki turned back to the stage as the announcer yapped constantly.
"Let's check out your targets~" Present Mic snapped his fingers as the screen changed. This time, it showed a main city structure in the middle, with buildings side-by-side, but what got everyone's eyes were the three shadowy figures encircling the buildings.
Listed as 1P, 2P, and 3P.
"These are your targets, there are three types of Villains in every Battle Center! You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty., so you better choose wisely."
On the screen, zoomed into the area, the image was locked onto a mini pixelized 'Present Mic' strolling through the streets, kicking any man-made Villains in the way. On the side of the screen was a star, whose number beside it changed to stacked points whenever a Villain was hit!
"Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk, and the skills that you have mastered to raise your score by wrecking through these Villains like a mid-song guitar solo!"
Katsuki's raised a fist up. "I can definitely obtain the most by beating these extra's asses and stealing their Point bots!"
Present Mic gave a friendly smile. "Oh, and don't forget!" he lowered his shades and scanned the crowd. "Keep things heroic! Attacking other examinees is a no, no, show!"
Katsuki: "Damn it!"
Yuki along with the others: "..."
"Excuse me, sir? I have a question!" a disciplined voice called out.
Eyes were drawn to the speaker.
Present Mic pointed as a spotlight graced the student. "Hit me with your question!"
The student stood up, pointing at a specific shadowy figure on the printout. Upon noticing that the supposed Villain lettered 'A' wasn't shown on the screen, he had to put his voice in to confirm whether or not there will be an extra addition in getting Points!
The boy frowned, as if displeased by the lack of attention the School was giving to the examinees, such as himself, who came to be a Hero.
"You listed four types of Villains, not three. With all respect..." the student's eyes had a sharp glint beneath his glasses. "... If this is an error on official material, this is shameful..."
He adjusted his glasses, "We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's #1 School for Heroics! A mistake such as this won't d-."
"Boring! Who the hell is this loser? You know what we think? We think you should {Shut Up!}." a voice from the crowed shouted.
The boy turned around, wondering who was so disrespectful as to interrupt his turn of speaking, and was about to say something.
But found that he couldn't talk, let alone, open his mouth!
He grabbed his mouth in panic. What happened?!
"{You guys, join me in making fun of him!}."
And then, the crowd instantly boiled.
If Present Mic got their joy, then this student got the crowd's rage!
"Shut up, you fucking nerd!" Katsuki glared down with a scowl.
"W-Who the fu- Who the hell are you, four eyes?" Kirito yelled. "Get back to your seat!"
"What a loser! Sit back down!" Kirito angrily flexed his arms, a feeling inside him swelled, wanting to beat the shit out of the stranger.
Izuku stood up, clutching his notebook with anger. "S-Stop being rude to the announcer, and sit back down. Y-Y-You d-damn nerd."
"WHAT HE SAID!" although she didn't know why, Himiko was just as angry. The crowd also followed.
"Boo!"
"Sit down!"
"What's an idiot like this guy doing here? He completely ruined the mood!"
"Your hair looks like the side of my butt cheeks!"
And then, the speaker named, Tenya Ida, watched with dull eyes as his fellow examinees started raining insults upon him.
Not being able to open his mouth to defend his actions, Tenya was angry.
What did he do wrong? He was just trying to clarify the information! And how disappointing was it that the future Heroes were acting so childish!
Back at his seat, Yuki whistled, swinging his finger to the side like a conductor, as the insults at, Tenya Ida, became louder.
Ahh. Music for thy ears~.
