"He doesn't need to know. All we need is his signature on this divorce agreement."

Because I wanted a quick divorce, I chose to leave with nothing.

Mrs. Winters was surprised, but she never liked me anyway. Seeing how readily I agreed and asked for nothing, she didn't question further and nodded, promising she'd get Xavion to sign the agreement.

From now on, I'd have no more ties with Xavion or the Winters family.

I nodded and turned to leave.

Mrs. Winters called after me:

"Wait a minute, there's still one account we haven't settled."

She looked at me, her eyes glinting shrewdly.

"The old lady's death."

Xavion sat in the back of the car with his eyes closed, resting. He had drunk quite a bit at tonight's social engagement. He instructed the driver to take him back to the newlywed villa.

He knew Serenity would have prepared sobering soup, waiting for his return.

This time, he was in for a disappointment.
