Afraid, she felt her body begin to weaken, her mind calculating the possibility of her outrunning that black beast silently approaching her with speed. Her heels had begun to echo down the hallway. She no longer cared if she was caught by the men who were speaking. Who would when a wild animal was chasing you first?
Her speed had increased, but her feet began to hurt, because heels weren't built for sprinting. She felt hope in her fear, until she tripped. She jolted on to her back crawling bank, whimpering. Was this the end? How is this the end?
She stopped crawling backwards, accepting her fate as it neared her. Her body suddenly became numb as she watched the black cat charge at her in all majesty, and the shadows of the men far behind it about to make a turn to the hall.
She didn't know when she passed out, that two arms picked her up and carried her through the door she had spotted earlier. In a hurry, he hadn't closed the door, and the panther cat walked in, its eyes scanning for them both, until it saw them on the left, the cloaked young man carefully placing her on the floor.
He looked behind him, and he saw the big cat, coming at him with slow steps. Its eyes glanced from her to him. In its jaw, a scroll.
Out of the blues,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?", he whispered a yell, "CLOSE THE DOOR!"
The cat quickly handed him the scroll, and it got on its two back feet, its jaw skillfully pulled the door handle, as it carefully shut the door without a sound. The young man checked the scroll, and nodded his head in confirmation. He pushed a brick in the wall, and a door opened. Stuffing the scroll into his bag.
"Let's go!" He whispered to them, and the lady in a cloak, and the panther. He picked up the princess, and ran through with the both of them. The opening in the wall closed no sooner than it opened, and immediately it shut, the door burst open with Prince Levi and Prince Navi, scanning the room.
"I swear I saw something go in here."
Levi cursed.
"So did I." Navi ended, both of them panting as they kept looking around in doubt. They both checked out the small window, yet everything still looked normal.
They stepped out, still looking around as they returned to where they ran from. Levi's anger returned on the issue that occurred earlier. It exhumed through his silence as he shut the door.
"I still think it rude we bailed on her when you were the one who made the plans for us to all have dinner, to get familiar."
Navi spoke his mind.
"It's my fault. I should have known better than to throw one when not knowing all the facts. Who knew she would be unable to speak?"
"Are you sure that's what the note said?"
Levi handed him the note as he walked with him, uninterested in repeating himself. Navi always wore think gloves that covered his arms, and long sleeved clothes . He took the note and read it with doubt in faith.
He squeezed the note, remembering the carriage leaving out the window the day she arrived.
"I knew he was a crooked King, but this, is a whole new level." His voice calm yet menacing.
" I plan on returning the favour," Levi added.
"Let me have the honour, brother."
"We'll share the fun."
Navi chuckled, knowing his brother was very upset, and wanted to deal with the her father. Levi paced up his steps as they made the turn out of the hall.
"Why are you in such a hurry?"
"I have a meeting with someone."
"This late?"
"Spare me the interrogation."
"Your majesty!" Sarah rushed along.
