Chapter 56: A hug.

IN A PANIC, Nigel began to move, a desperate scramble. He raced as if running fast enough could make him forget what he’d just done, erase the explicit images from his mind.

Nigel went through his usual morning routine, a frantic and mechanical process. His teeth got clean, he pissed, and he washed himself, scrubbing his body almost raw. While he accomplished those mundane tasks, Nigel fiercely told himself he didn’t like Pete, that Dagerstanteens didn’t do things to each other like that. Masturbating to thoughts of spurting on Pete’s arse was wrong, seriously wrong, and they were friends. Barely friends. Nigel was just teaching the silly sod, nothing more.

Bloody hell.

When Nigel finally jumped over the railing to his home, he landed on the deck and spotted the royal. His eyes shot immediately to his mum’s suitcase, sitting innocently in the corner. Pete, oblivious, merely closed the lid and leaned against the wall, a picture of calm, as if waiting for him.
