Chapter 41: The Taiyuan Immortal

"Another relic?" Li Jiufeng halted in surprise, his eyes fixed on the new engraving.

This relic was imprinted on the grand gate, appearing just as the gate began to open. At this moment, only Li Jiufeng could see it—everyone else was too eager to rush in and seize the treasures of the Taiyuan Immortal's estate.

Li Jiufeng, however, remained calm. He wasn't in a hurry and decided to study the engraving closely.

"The last relic helped me comprehend an incredible celestial art. Its power is immense, but I haven't started practicing yet. I wonder what this one holds," he thought to himself as he observed the new engraving.

The image depicted the mundane world of mortals—a sprawling, endless cycle of life. Farmers toiled in the fields, generals fought battles, scholars taught, beggars begged, emperors ruled with diligence, while hermits grew old in their secluded practices, and everyday teachers lived on in peace—each figure living their lives, both ordinary and magnificent.

As Li Jiufeng observed, the scene began to stir something within him. Suddenly, a line of text appeared before his eyes:

"You have gazed upon the relic, your insight has awakened, and you have comprehended the Seventh Judgment Technique: The Traveler of Dust."

Li Jiufeng's heart skipped a beat. "Another technique from the Seventh Judgment?" He knew instantly that this was also a celestial art, and it seemed to follow the same pattern as the previous one.

The Seventh Judgment Techniques were undoubtedly powerful—each move was a unique celestial art.

Li Jiufeng quickly absorbed the technique into his consciousness. As memories flooded into his mind, he realized that this art, Traveler of Dust, was part of the same lineage as Break of the Sky, the technique he had previously grasped.

The Seventh Judgment: Break of the Sky.

The Seventh Judgment: Traveler of Dust.

Now, Li Jiufeng had comprehended two techniques. He couldn't help but wonder, "If the name is the Seventh Judgment, does that mean there are seven techniques in total?"

If so, with two techniques already learned, did the remaining five reside within the Taiyuan Immortal's estate?

"If I could comprehend the full Seven Judgments, my strength would increase tremendously," Li Jiufeng thought, excitement filling his chest. The complete celestial art would surely be more formidable than any single technique on its own.

With that thought, Li Jiufeng turned his attention to the Taiyuan Immortal's estate behind the gate, no longer focused on his training. He hurried toward the estate—if there were treasures inside, he too wished to claim his share. With both the celestial technique and the treasures, he would experience a double boost to his strength.

In a flash, Li Jiufeng transformed into a beam of light, swiftly entering the Taiyuan Immortal's estate.

Inside the estate, the spiritual energy was overwhelming, dense, and concentrated. Every breath of air was thicker than anything Li Jiufeng had experienced in the Holy Angel City, and some areas had a concentration hundreds of times greater.

This only confirmed that the Taiyuan Immortal's estate held vast amounts of treasures.

Not long after, Li Jiufeng saw a grand hall looming ahead. It stretched across the land, obscuring the sky, and stood as the sole point of interest in the vast expanse.

Without hesitation, he flew towards it, finding that other young kings from various races had already scattered throughout the hall, closely inspecting everything.

Li Jiufeng approached the God King and asked, "What are you all looking for?"

The God King responded telepathically, "I'm not sure. When we arrived, we found this hall, but after coming in, there was no clear path forward. I've just been following the others, observing and searching for something. I didn't want to seem unprofessional."

Li Jiufeng glanced at the God King in silence and chose to ignore him, focusing instead on the hall.

The hall was spacious, with seats and benches crafted from rare treasures. There were exquisite jade beds and painted landscapes hanging on the walls. It was clear that this place once served as the master's personal quarters.

Suddenly, the Giant King strode over to one of the jade beds. He reached out and tried to lift it with a mighty roar, his muscles bulging as he summoned his immense strength to move the bed.

Everyone turned to look at him.

The God King's eyes lit up, and he slapped his chest in frustration, saying, "This jade bed looks special. Why didn't I think of that? Now the big guy got there first."

At that moment, everyone regretted not acting sooner.

However, regret quickly turned to action. The Golden Lion King swiftly claimed a table, keeping a sharp eye on his surroundings. The Great Ape King occupied a stone carving, its energy radiating in waves that far surpassed the divine source Li Jiufeng had encountered before. It was clearly extraordinary.

Others followed suit, each claiming an item of their interest. Even Snow Maiden of the Holy Angel Clan sat gracefully at a vanity, her actions smooth yet unmistakably signaling that she had claimed it as her own.

The God King reacted quickly, grabbing a chair crafted from unknown exotic wood. Noticing that Li Jiufeng had nothing, he immediately offered, "Brother, there's still a chair over here. I'll let you have it. The wood is rare, probably from the Immortal Realm. It's definitely worth a lot."

The others looked toward Li Jiufeng, recognizing the chair as a fine piece.

Just as they expected him to accept, Li Jiufeng shook his head and declined, saying, "If we could actually take these items, it wouldn't be our turn yet."

His words caused everyone to pause in surprise.

At that moment, a loud voice came from the Giant King's direction. "This damn jade bed is unbelievably heavy! I've moved entire mountains before, but I can't lift this bed. It's ridiculous!"

Everyone immediately tested their own strength, but none of them could budge the objects.

The God King immediately released his chair, laughing aloud without a hint of embarrassment, and said, "It's just as my brother said. Why bother fighting over it? If we could move these items, those who entered before us would have already taken them."

The Golden Lion King awkwardly jumped off the table.

The Great Ape King snorted and let go of the carving.

Others also showed signs of dissatisfaction.

Li Jiufeng, however, had been keeping an eye on Snow Maiden. After a brief moment of discomfort, she stood up from the vanity, as if nothing had happened, and asked, "Has anyone found another way?"

Everyone shook their heads.

The Black Dragon King grumbled, "This hall is sealed. There's only one entrance, and we can't find any other way."

"What now?" The God King sighed, "We finally made it into the Taiyuan Immortal's estate, but we can't even claim any treasures?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the massive doors of the hall suddenly slammed shut with a thunderous boom.

Everyone tensed, exchanging wary glances. They quickly realized that none of them were responsible.

The God King leaned closer to Li Jiufeng and whispered, "Brother, let's team up. We can trust each other."

Li Jiufeng silently agreed, standing back-to-back with the God King, both remaining alert.

Just then, a deep voice echoed throughout the hall.

"Welcome to the Taiyuan Immortal's estate. I am the Taiyuan Immortal. If you seek my treasures, then show me your talents and strength."
