Episode 55: The Reversible Raincoat — Fashionably Dry, Dramatically Extra

The shop's door jingled again, and this time a tall, impeccably dressed man strolled in, his boots polished to a mirror shine. He carried himself like a noble who once heard the word "humble" and decided it wasn't for him.

Felix was halfway through sipping his tea. He immediately regretted that decision when the man announced:

"I require a Reversible Raincoat — one that transforms into a stylish cape when the sun emerges. Oh, and it must flare dramatically behind me as I walk."

Felix choked on his tea. Zira stared, blinking slowly.

"So… you want a coat that flips into a cape… with a built-in flair feature?" Zira asked, her voice dangerously close to laughter.

"Yes," the man said, voice dripping with importance. "I am Lord Cedric von Featherstone the Third. I must look impressive — rain or shine."

Felix leaned over to Zira and whispered, "Why do the extra ones always come with five names?"

Zira whispered back, "It's the 'von' — it amplifies the drama."

Felix sighed and picked up his wand. "Alright. One Reversible Raincoat-Cape with built-in theatrical gusts of wind for maximum drama. Coming right up."

The Reveal: Fashion and Meteorology Collide

After some careful sewing spells (and accidentally giving the coat sleeves a brief phase where they tap-danced), Felix presented the creation.

"Behold — the Featherstone Flare Reversible Raincape!"

The coat was sleek, deep navy with silver trim. But the moment Felix flipped it inside out, it shimmered into a crimson, high-collared cape, lined with gold.

Lord Cedric gasped. "Magnificent! But… the flair?"

Felix smirked. "Ah, don't worry — it's got flair." He tapped the shoulder seam.

FWOOOOOSH!

A burst of perfectly timed wind erupted from the back, sending the cape billowing behind Cedric like he was marching to overthrow a kingdom.

His eyes sparkled. "I look like a majestic hawk descending upon the unworthy!"

Zira muttered, "More like a peacock on a power trip."

Cedric struck a pose, his cape still fluttering. "What happens if it rains?"

Felix grinned. "Flip it back, and voilà — waterproof and windproof. No flair, though. Safety reasons."

Cedric nodded solemnly. "Understandable. One must not outshine the thunder."

He tossed a pouch of gold on the counter and strutted out.

The cape caught the wind one last time, FWOOOOOSH, making the shop's candle flames flicker dramatically.

Felix watched him leave. "If that guy doesn't walk straight into a musical number, I'll be disappointed."

Zira smirked. "So, what's next?"
