(7) Mama's Boyfriend? oh No!

Arriving at the horse-drawn carriage, Geraldo helped Deon, Daniel and Derel board the horse-drawn carriage.

"Very nice." Daniel said when he saw this horse-drawn carriage.

It looked as if it was decorated as well as possible and the inside was also very clean, there was no dirt left.

"Uncle, aren't you coming too?"

The three of them looked at Geraldo who wasn't riding with them.

Geraldo shook his head "No, I'm going home by horse, you guys be careful on the road."

Liana had also boarded the horse-drawn carriage.

"Thank you again." Liana said again.

Geraldo cleared his throat "You're welcome." He replied in a voice that was too small to hear.

"Goodbye uncle!" The three of them shouted, as the carriage pulled away from the market.

Geraldo waved his hand as he watched Liana and the three children leave, until the carriage was out of his sight.

Geraldo was still smiling, but after that he immediately realized.

He slapped himself lightly on the face "Wake up Geraldo, you must be out of your mind." He said to himself.

He felt that he was not right anymore, why did he have to smile to himself earlier?

If anyone saw him, they would be able to tell that he was mentally ill.

To keep his mind from wandering, Geraldo decided to just go home.

Resting himself who seemed to be getting tired, his brain right now was probably tired too.

Arriving home, the coachman actually delivered the horse to the front of the house, even wanting to enter the yard.

Making Liana panic "uncle, just get here, later uncle can't turn around and get out." Liana stopped him, rather than the coachman not being able to get out.

"Alright miss, let me bring your luggage inside."

"Is this part of your duties uncle?"

The coachman nodded "That's right Miss, I will give you my best service and make sure you are comfortable."

The old man eagerly helped Liana load the luggage into the house.

"You're welcome miss, have a happy life with your beloved!"

Liana was dumbfounded and gawked at the unexpected remark.

Who had a lover? She had no lovers or close friends other than her children.

Deon, Daniel and Derel were also stunned, as they clearly heard what the old uncle was saying.

"Who is Mama's lover?"

"Why don't you tell us about your lover?"

The three children kept pressing Liana to tell them who her lover was.

Liana was left with a headache "kids calm down, I don't have a boyfriend."

They were silent for a while "Liar, Mama must have one, if doesn't, there's no way uncle coachman knows something." Investigating Daniel who was already like a detective.

"Uncle just misunderstood, I also don't understand what he's talking about." Liana answered honestly.

It seemed that the three children were not happy to hear that their mother had a lover.

They didn't want their mother to be taken by another man.

Liana was able to breathe freely now "Yes, I promise, now we clean our bodies first, right? After that you can help Mama make the cake."

They calmed down and obeyed what Liana told them to do.

They cleaned themselves first and their bodies were already refreshed.

They also immediately put on the new nightgowns they had just bought at the market earlier.

"They're all handsome now." Liana praised the new looks of her three children.

Deon, Daniel and Derel immediately blushed "thank you Mama." They replied softly.

They also felt cool with what they were wearing.

"Let's make a cake!" Excited Derel, the youngest child who couldn't wait to make a cake together with his mama.

And this was the first time he and his two older siblings were going to help their mom bake a cake.

Liana made the bed first, so that later when they had finished making the cake and eating, they would immediately be able to sleep soundly.

"Alright kids, let's go to the kitchen now."

Liana took her three children to the kitchen.

"What do you want to make?"

"I want to make a roll cake."

"I just heard about it, is it good?"

Liana didn't want to burden her children, they were still too young and she was afraid that they would be careless when they were exposed to the fire, so maybe later Liana would instruct them to take only light ingredients.

Deon, Daniel and Derel really helped Liana in making the cake.

Until three hours passed, finally Liana's Roll cake was made with only makeshift ingredients.

Liana couldn't make a Roll cake with complete ingredients like in her world before, because the ingredients in this world were still limited in existence.

Even if there is, it must be very expensive and Liana with an unstable economy certainly can't buy it.

But even with makeshift ingredients, this food was still delicious and it was proven by the delicious smell.

"Very fragrant." Deon, Daniel and Derel were immediately hypnotized by the delicious smell coming out of this roll cake.

Liana laughed at their expressions as if they hadn't eaten for a week.

Even though they had only been served delicious food a few hours earlier, the gift from Geraldo was still intact and they had not eaten it.

"There is only one condition for tasting this food."

"Are you guys looking forward to tasting it?"

The three of them immediately nodded "yes mama!" They were very excited and could hardly wait anymore.

"What is it Mama?"

"Tell me that you love me and are not afraid of me anymore."
