Rachel's voice was shaking as she begged the guys to let her call someone for help. They laughed and taunted her, but eventually, one of them handed her a phone.
Rachel's fingers trembled as she dialed a number. She waited for what felt like an eternity for someone to pick up.
"Maya, please help me," Rachel sobbed into the phone.
Maya's voice was calm and reassuring on the other end of the line. "Rachel, what's wrong? Where are you?"
Rachel took a deep breath and tried to explain the situation. Maya listened intently, her expression growing more and more concerned.
"Rachel, I'm on my way," Maya said. "Just hang in there, okay?"
Rachel nodded, even though Maya couldn't see her. She felt a small sense of hope that Maya was coming to rescue her.
But as she looked around the room, Rachel realized that she might not be able to hold on for much longer. The guys were getting impatient, and Maya was still minutes away.
Rachel closed her eyes and took a deep breath, praying that Maya would arrive soon.
