### Chapter 19: Ning AK2523! The Power of Pyrokinesis!

Wang Wei didn't recognize the hunchbacked man, but he knew the status behind the "Lüshan Dao" emblem embroidered on the visitor's robe.

The Lüshan Dao held dominion over southern China, their influence stretching from Fujian to Southeast Asia. For twenty years they'd been expanding inland, now controlling the sacred Mount Xi's Longevity Palace.

"My master was retrieving an artifact for Elder Lin when attacked," Wang Wei explained through gritted teeth. "The ghost's power... it transcended ordinary spirits."

The hunchback examined the crumbling bones in the canvas bag. "These aren't his remains. That old fox might still be breathing." His milky eye fixed on Wang Wei. "Find the grandson. The relic must be with him."

**3:00 AM, Wucheng Funeral Shop**

Xu Yang stared at his system interface glowing in the dark:

**[Virtue Points]**: 538

With a thought, flames materialized above his palm—a swirling fireball illuminating the room.

*Whoosh!*

The female ghost materialized, hair billowing as crimson characters blazed:

[How?! Qi Refinement Third Layer shouldn't...]

Xu Yang smirked. "Natural talent." His smile faltered as the fireball drained his spiritual energy alarmingly fast.

*Fwoosh!*

He hurled the flame through the broken window. The projectile struck a streetlamp, shearing its steel pole like paper.

"Shit!" Xu Yang gaped at the toppled infrastructure. "Ghost sis! Cleanup!"

With an ethereal wave, the female ghost levitated the debris to the roadside.

**[Cultivation]**: Qi Refinement Fourth Layer

**[Virtue Points]**: 200

Xu Yang groaned. "338 points for one breakthrough? Daylight robbery!"

From his spatial storage emerged two relics—the charred peachwood sword and a rusty iron seal. "What secrets do you hold?"

Unseen, the female ghost's spectral fingers trembled. That seal... she'd glimpsed similar patterns in imperial archives centuries past.

**Next Morning**

The hunchback's cane tapped rhythmically on Wucheng's streets. Wang Wei trailed behind, clutching a jade pendant containing his master's residual qi—a tracker for supernatural traces.

As they turned onto Yumin Street, the pendant suddenly glowed crimson.

"Here." The hunchback stopped before Xu Yang's shop. His milky eye swiveled unnaturally. "The boy reeks of celestial fire... and something older."
