Obligatory author review! For me, this fic started as me just thinking the House of Night was cool, to me going on a deep dive into character development and storytelling. While it begins close to cannon Shadow Slave, it gradually branches off into its own unique path. Each arc is carefully crafted and outlined (though it wasn't this way when I started), revealing more about the characters and the complex relationships between them. If you're drawn to themes like the illusion of control, redemption, the burden of choice, adaptation, and a nuanced journey to power, then definitely check out Blessed of the Sea. I've poured a lot of thought into creating any original character, and developing a narritive where growth is earned, choices matter, and nothing stays simple for long.

Initially I wrote a review stating this a really good bro who and you should see the story through but now after catching up the 5th chapter I can genuinely say this is one of the best fan produced work I’ve ever read it’s a masterpiece please see this story through it has potential to surpass fanfics like discordant note
