She stood outside my house, guitar slung over her shoulder, singing the love song from when she first pursued me.
As soon as she sang the first line, I dumped a garbage can on her from upstairs.
"What the hell are you screeching about in the middle of the night?" I said coldly.
Vivienne smiled weakly. "Alaric, congratulations on finally achieving your dream."
I showed no mercy. "Yeah, if it weren't for you, I would've achieved it two years ago already."
Vivienne's smile froze on her face.
After a long silence, she finally pulled out a crumpled card from her pocket.
"This is the wish card you once gave me. You said that as long as I had this card, you'd grant any wish I wanted."
Looking at her, I felt nauseated for no reason. I didn't know who she was putting on this devoted act for.
"The card was only valid for as long as I loved you."
"And you've completely ruined any love I had for you."
