Door incident

This was such a shitty idea, she groaned.

She had spent thirty minutes in the stupid dorm looking for her room. The lady at the desk had been of zero help and she had an attitude like that of an ogre.

In her bid to find her room, she had been knocked around, knocked down, slammed into a wall by a girl in pink with a suitcase larger than herself and of course she had been cursed at.

God she was almost in tears, she knew this was a bad idea, she was just too stupid to have hope.

Once more she cursed Bianca in her heart.

Deciding that it was too far early to give up and back down she took one last turn and walked up that hallway instead.

It was way more quiet than the actual dorm and it was darker. It gave her the chills.

She told herself that if this is where her room was she was just going to have to manage for the night and request a room change in the morning.

Her eyes scanned the number on the doors, looking for a room 3165.

There were only five rooms on this floor, and the last room was more secluded than the rest.

She swore as realises that the secluded room had the same number as the key chain attached to the key.

It felt like she was walking right into the devils den. She considered sleeping in the hallway.

But then she shook her head and stilled her spine. She was going to do this. She had to.

Taking a deep breath, she walked up to the door, inserted the key, gave it a twist and just as she went to tug on the handle, the door came flying open, smacking her right in the face.

It happened all to fast for her to stop it, but in the end she ended up on the ground a groan pouring from her lips as she cradled her nose.

It didn't feel broken, but goodness it hurt so much that her eyes teared up.

The person who had caused the door assault stood before her, his dark eyes, taking in her pathetic position on the ground.

Before she could snap at him a voice beat her to it.

"Oh my goodness Stephen, don't you have manners apologize". The voice chided before coming over to her side and cradling her face.

She barely caught the sight of Stephen before he mumbled a sorry excuse of an apology and walked away.

"Well, it isn't broken, but it is an ugly shade of red, does nothing for your color." The girl tutted, inspecting her face closely.

Too closely.

When the pain had finally subsided a little and left her eyes, she found light blue ones looking down at her with an excited smile.

She was far too excited for Elizabeth's taste, well she suppose in her defense she hadn't just gotten to second base with a door.

"Hi you must be Elizabeth, I'm Quinn, your new roommate. We are going to have the best time together." The girl squealed.

Elizabeth closed her eyes, and it felt like forever before she opened them, but when she did, she was on a bed, and she could see the moon through the slit of the curtain hanging by the window.

She prayed it the last few hours were nightmares, but as she looked up at the face peering down at her, she realized that this was about to be her new reality.
