"Aren't you excited?" Quinn asked turning her attention to Liz her eyes wide and shining with excitement.
"Not really I've never liked tests, and why do they have to know our physical strengths? What's that supposed to do with going to school?" She replied looking are table as the buzz became to strong to ignore.
Quinn's smile faltered for a second before it was back up like nothing happened.
"This school is a prestigious school duh, obviously they are going to need the students to be good at everything, both physically and mentally." She replied matter of factly, picking up her utensils and cutting up her steak.
Liz thought about it, Quinn could be right, although she never heard anything about this school, the few who talked about it praised it a lot.
So maybe they just needed extremely excellent students.
She lets out a sigh before digging into the food in front of her.
From the corner of her eye, Quinn sees Liz sag her shoulders, a sigh of relief escaping her lips.
She had almost said too much. Quinn thought troubling her buttom lip.
"So how did you hear about this school?" Liz asks turning around to face Quinn.
Quinn freezes up for a second before taking a big swallow.
"Oh, both my brothers go here, they are going to be seniors by the end of the year." She rambles, her cheeks heating up.
Liz nods her head, trying to remember the features of the boy that had slammed her face into the door so hard she passed out.
"What about you? How did you find out about Evacrest?" Quinn questioned staring at her.
"I didn't actually, my Step mom, Bianca, told my dad about it. He agreed that it was a good idea so he shipped me off to this place, three states away from home and well here I am." She responds with a small smile.
But Quinn could see the hurt in her eyes.
"Sorry about that, if it makes you feel better I hate evil step mom's." Quinn says nudging her a little.
That gets a small laugh out of her as she mumbles a 'who doesn't'.
The topic shifts to a more light hearted one as the dinner comes to an end. Dessert is served and Quinn eats both hers and Liz because she has quite the sweet tooth.
Liz watched in fascination as the girl basically demolished two helpings of chocolate cake. Giggling when she gets chocolate all over her face.
"It isn't funny." Quinn groaned cleaning up her face with the napkin on the table.
"It kinda is" Liz retorted.
While they bicker, wine glasses are put in front of them, filled with scarlet liquid.
"Um are they serving wine to minors?" Liz questioned picking up the wine glass bringing it to her nose and sniffing it.
"Obviously not, it's apple juice." Quinn replies taking a huge gulp of hers.
Watching her new friend drink it, she takes a sip of her own.
It did taste like apple juice, all though it did pack a punch.
It was a little bit too frizzy.
She continues her conversation with Quinn, but then black dots begin to appear in her vision.
Her words getting slurred with each word, before her a girl falls face first into the table and soon others on the table are doing the same.
One by one the freshman go unconscious on the table, all of them except her.
She tries to fight it, shaking her head to clear the black dots in her vision , but just like the rest, she is over powered and gives into the fatigue.
Her head being the last one to hit the table.
