As Berloff Reed left the Four Seasons Hotel, someone slipped a few food discount coupons into his car.
Initially, Berloff wanted to toss them out, but then he remembered his recycling system and kept them with a smile.
The next morning, just as Berloff opened his sleepy eyes, the system's voice echoed in his mind.
"Ding!"
"Would the host like to recycle these 5 food discount coupons?""Successful recycling will grant a reward."
Berloff chuckled and immediately instructed the system to recycle them.
"Ding!"
"Recycling successful! The host is rewarded with 70% shares of Huaye Food Group!"
Huaye Food Group?
Upon hearing the name, Berloff was overjoyed.
This was one of the top ten giants in the national food industry, with hundreds of Michelin-starred restaurants and several major chain brands under its belt.To think that such a famous food giant would fall into Berloff's hands so easily.
What a sweet deal!
After Berloff got up and finished his morning routine, the equity transfer documents for Huaye Food Group had already been delivered by courier.
After signing the documents, Berloff discovered a diamond VIP card inside.
With this card, Berloff Reed could enjoy the ultimate VIP treatment at all restaurants under the Huaye Food Group. No need for reservations or waiting in line, and he could eat, drink, and have fun for free for life. You should know, many of Huaye Food's restaurants, like the Japanese place, the French bistro, and the Korean BBQ joint, are popular spots in major cities. Even on regular weekdays, they're packed and require reservations.
With this card, Berloff didn't even need to reveal his status as a restaurant owner to impress girls and become the envy of everyone around.
After putting the card away, Berloff finished his breakfast and happily headed to the gym at the Global Tower for a workout.
By 11 a.m., drenched in sweat, Berloff showered and changed, ready to head to a nearby trendy restaurant for a feast.
"Ring, ring, ring..."
Just then, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw it was Trista, the twin sister he had just met yesterday.
"Hey, Brother Berloff, thanks for dinner yesterday. Are you free for lunch today? I'd like to treat you to some Western food at the Pacific Mall."
Being invited to a meal, Berloff was naturally happy to accept, especially since the inviter was a beauty like Trista.
Knowing Berloff was at the Global Tower, Trista drove over in a white Audi TT sports car to pick him up.
Half an hour later, Trista and Berloff arrived at the underground parking lot of the Pacific Mall, chatting and laughing.
Just as they got out of the car, a surprised voice called out.
"Trista! What a coincidence! I didn't expect to see you here!"
Berloff turned to see a young woman with wavy hair and a delicate face stepping out of a black Mercedes S600.
The person waved enthusiastically at Trista, their face beaming with excitement.
"Wow! Rhea, you're here too?"Trista responded with a bright smile and waved back. She turned to Berloff Reed and explained, "Brother Berloff, this is my college friend Rhea. We haven't seen each other in years."
Berloff smiled slightly and nodded towards Rhea.
"Your old friend seems to be doing well. She looks quite wealthy."
Rhea was dressed in the latest Dior summer outfit, with a diamond necklace around her neck and an expensive jade bracelet on her wrist. At first glance, she looked like a high-society lady.
However, to Berloff, Trista's fresh and natural style was more to his liking. Rhea's overly flashy attire made her seem like a nouveau riche, quite tacky in his eyes.
"Trista, it's been so long! I've missed you so much!"
Rhea stepped forward and gave Trista an exaggeratedly warm hug.
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Rhea turned her attention to Berloff. "Trista, who is this?"
"He's Brother Berloff, a good friend I just met," Trista said, her cheeks turning slightly red as she shyly introduced him.
Berloff grinned, "Hi, I'm Berloff Reed. I came along with Trista today to grab a bite."
Upon hearing this, a flash of disdain appeared in Rhea's eyes.
"Trista, this Mr. Berloff is quite handsome, but in today's world, a man can't just rely on good looks. You need to be careful and not get fooled!" Rhea warned.
Trista was taken aback, then couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. She knew her old classmate Rhea must have mistaken Berloff Reed for a freeloader with nothing to offer.
Oh my goodness! Brother Berloff was a millionaire with luxury yachts and supercars worth billions. Would such a man need to deceive women to get their attention?
Just as Trista was about to explain, a well-dressed young man stepped out of the driver's seat of a Mercedes S600.
"Trista, this is my fiancé, Elton!" Rhea said, her face showing a proud smile as she eagerly linked arms with Elton.
"He just got his MBA from Wharton and is currently the general manager at a Fortune 500 company's local branch. His annual salary plus bonuses is in the millions."
The boastful tone in Rhea's voice was unmistakable to anyone listening.Trista frowned slightly, regretting this conversation with her old classmate. Was it really necessary to start showing off and comparing as soon as they met after all these years?
"Wow!" Berloff Reed exclaimed, his mouth wide open in astonishment. "Your fiancé is amazing! Earning millions a year, that's incredibly wealthy!"
The exaggerated and pretentious tone made Trista stifle her laughter, her face flushing red.
This brother Berloff was just too mischievous!
He was clearly a billionaire, yet he enjoyed teasing people like this.
Unfortunately, their old classmate Rhea didn't catch on to Berloff Reed's sarcasm at all and started showing off proudly.
"Hehe, a million-dollar annual salary is decent back home."
"What touches me the most is Elton's care and consideration."
"Look, this Dior summer outfit I'm wearing costs two or three thousand dollars. And this diamond necklace, this precious jade bracelet, all bought by Elton at a high price."
"Not to mention this Mercedes and the luxury villa he's preparing for our wedding..."
At this point, Rhea stood on her tiptoes and planted a heavy kiss on Elton's cheek.
"Elton, you're so good to me. I love you to bits."
Elton chuckled, his gaze sweeping over the lovely and charming Trista, feeling a surge of heat inside.
Such a beautiful, natural beauty made his fiancée Rhea look like nothing in comparison.
He had heard that Trista had a twin sister. If he could get both sisters in bed... Wow!Thinking of this, Elton glanced at Berloff Reed and said arrogantly, "Baby, you deserve all of this."
"As a man, it's my duty to provide the best material conditions for the woman I love."
"You can't be like those broke guys who rely on women for food and shelter, right?" Rhea giggled, deliberately glancing at Berloff Reed.
"Don't say that! Brother Berloff, he..." Trista was terrified and quickly jumped in to explain. She had gone out of her way to meet Berloff today, hoping to win over this young millionaire. If Rhea scared him away, she'd regret it for sure."Heh!" At this moment, Berloff chuckled softly and interrupted, "Actually, I think men who can live off women are even more impressive."
"After all, only those who are truly handsome have the privilege to be kept, right?"
