In her fury, Eleanor unleashed her full strength and speed, reaching her personal best.
The whooshing sound of her punches made the hearts of the coaches and trainees standing by the ring pound with anxiety, their faces tense.
Unfortunately for her, in the eyes of Berloff Reed, who had taken the "Rebirth Pill," Eleanor's movements seemed like slow-motion scenes from a movie, posing no threat at all.
Once again, at the last moment, Berloff skillfully dodged to the left, narrowly avoiding Eleanor's fierce punch.
As they passed each other, Berloff's gloved hand lightly brushed against Eleanor's firm backside.
"You! Ugh... I'm so mad I could scream!"
Eleanor was furious, glaring at Berloff with a look that could kill, wishing she could bite this pervert to death.
The coaches and trainees below the ring didn't notice Berloff's sneaky move. They were puzzled, thinking Eleanor was angry because she hadn't knocked Berloff out instantly.
"Eleanor, don't worry. That guy's just lucky. You'll beat him up in no time."
"Yeah, he always barely dodges at the last second. Once he runs out of energy, he'll know what it's like to mess with Eleanor."
"Eleanor, hang in there! Beat the crap out of him!"
...
Hearing the cheers from the crowd, Eleanor took a deep breath and glared at Berloff with murderous intent.
"Kid, well done. You've successfully pissed me off!"
"I'll see how you die!" Eleanor shouted, taking a few steps forward and aiming a flying kick straight at Berloff Reed's groin.
Whoa! This young lady doesn't play fair... She's trying to make sure I can't have kids!
Berloff was shocked and quickly sidestepped, grabbing Eleanor's incoming leg tightly.
"Hey, that's cheating!" he exclaimed. "We agreed to use fists, not legs!"
Eleanor snorted, "I said I'd take you down in ten moves. I never said I'd only use my fists!"
"Take this!"
In the next second, despite Berloff holding her leg, Eleanor hopped on one foot and executed a spinning kick aimed right at Berloff's head.
Oh my gosh! That kick was heading straight for his temple. If it connected, who knows what could happen.
Berloff's face turned pale. He quickly ducked, narrowly avoiding Eleanor's dangerous move.
As Eleanor landed back on one foot, Berloff gritted his teeth, released her leg, and lunged forward with his arms wide open, aiming to tackle her.
Thud! Caught off guard, Eleanor was slammed to the ground, held tightly by Berloff around her waist.Berloff Reed slammed his opponent onto the ring, his head suddenly buried in a soft, fragrant embrace.
The sweet scent and the soft sensation made his heart flutter.
"Let go of me, you jerk!"
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Eleanor swung her fists from the ground, hitting Berloff's back repeatedly.
However, her awkward position made it hard for her to muster any strength.
Plus, Berloff's face kept moving against her sensitive spots, making her body tremble and weak. The punches looked fierce but were actually soft and powerless, more like playful hits between lovers.
"Five moves! Six moves! Seven moves! Eight moves! Nine moves! Ten moves!"
After taking a few hits, Berloff got up awkwardly and shouted at Eleanor, "Miss, that's ten moves. I win."
"Screw your ten moves! I'm going to kill you today!"
Eleanor sprang up like a fish, her face flushed red, and chased after Berloff.
"Oh, crap!"
Berloff was terrified. He quickly slipped out of the ring and sprinted towards the entrance of the gym where a BYD Han was parked.
Bang!
Luckily, Eleanor hadn't taken the car keys.
Berloff shut the car door, started the engine, and sped off like a rocket.
"Jerk! Don't you dare run! I'll kill you, you scoundrel!" Eleanor panted heavily as she chased after him, shouting threats.
She couldn't believe how fast this pretty boy could run, faster than a sprinter. She couldn't keep up with Berloff Reed's speed at all.By the time Berloff sped off in Eleanor's BYD Han, leaving nothing but dust behind, Eleanor was left cursing as she ran back to the boxing gym.
"Carl, give me your car keys now! I have to catch that jerk today!" she demanded, her eyes blazing with fury.
Carl, the boxing coach, nervously handed over his keys. Unfortunately, he drove a regular Passat.
Given Berloff's driving skills and the BYD Han's electric acceleration, even top-tier sports cars would struggle to keep up with it on a highway with a speed limit of 80 mph. A regular sedan stood no chance. Moreover, Eleanor was more skilled with motorcycles than cars, making her driving less effective.
By the time she angrily arrived at Silk City International Airport, Berloff had already boarded his flight, which was about to take off.
"Damn you, Berloff Reed!"
"You dare take advantage of me? This isn't over!" Eleanor shouted at the boarding gate, her face icy with anger as she stomped her foot.
A strange sensation lingered on her chest, where no man had ever dared to touch before.Originally, the proud and ambitious police officer Eleanor had planned to teach Berloff Reed a lesson. However, she ended up being taken advantage of by him, which left her feeling both humiliated and furious, harboring a deep-seated grudge against him.
"Hehe, I'm about to see a bunch of old high school friends. Just thinking about it is exciting!" Berloff said, rubbing his hands together in anticipation as he sat in first class, completely forgetting about Eleanor.
"After attending the school anniversary, I'll take the opportunity to visit home," he thought. "I transferred a million dollars to my parents last time. I wonder how they've spent it. I hope they didn't scrimp and save, refusing to enjoy themselves."
An hour later, Berloff landed smoothly in Crown City, Southwest.
He took a taxi straight to the county town, arriving at the Rich Hotel just before noon.
"Hey, I thought you weren't coming!" Dunn greeted Berloff at the hotel entrance.
"How could I miss it? I just got held up by something and almost missed the flight," Berloff replied with a hearty laugh, walking towards the upstairs private room with Dunn.
"Well, well, if it isn't our high school heartthrob, Berloff Reed! I didn't expect you to become a financial mogul and still find time to come back to our little county for the school anniversary," a sarcastic voice chimed in as Berloff entered the room.
Looking in the direction of the voice, Berloff saw a man with a slicked-back hair and a powdered face, his square features scrutinizing him with a mocking gaze.
The man was impeccably dressed, sporting branded leather shoes and a Swiss Rado watch worth thousands of dollars. He looked every bit the part of a successful gentleman.
In contrast, Berloff Reed wore a custom-made casual outfit with no visible brand logos. To the untrained eye, he looked no different from someone who could only afford cheap online bargains.
"Camel? Sullivan?"
Berloff's face darkened slightly. He hadn't expected to run into his old high school nemesis the moment he walked in.
