Chapter 112. Gratitude

"Miss So-Hee, here's your watch. Take care of it, okay? When you wear any of them, you'll always be reminded of my handsomeness!" Neo said jokingly, with a hint of truth behind his words.

"You know you're that handsome, that's why you said it, right? I won't forget this experience. The way you spend money so generously is worth experiencing. Thank you, Neo." She hugged him tightly for about five seconds before letting go.

"Are you leaving now? Let me walk you to your car. You won't mind being seen with a stranger, right? But with my handsome appearance, you won't need to worry!" Neo joked.

"Truly an arrogant person, hahaha. But I don't mind being spotted; let them get curious!" she said, laughing cutely.

"Hey, George, wait for me here. I'm just walking Miss So-Hee to the parking lot," Neo called out.

"Okay. Bye, Miss So-Hee. See you soon," George replied.

"Take care, Miss So-Hee," Tristan added.

"See you later," Brent chimed in.

"Bye-bye!" Remi waved.

So-Hee waved her hand to say goodbye, and they left the store, walking toward the parking lot.

"So, where are you guys staying?" So-Hee asked curiously.

"Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. We just arrived here last night. Luckily, the hotel isn't fully booked yet," Neo replied, carrying several bags.

"Okay, I'm also curious. Can I ask some personal questions?" So-Hee asked, seeking permission.

"Are you a second-generation rich kid? Based on your appearance, you're in your early twenties, right? Are your parents wealthy?" she speculated, assuming Neo came from a wealthy family, which allowed him to spend money so freely.

"Do you think my money comes from my parents? you're wrong! You know I'm quite popular in my country?" Neo said, laughing.

"Really? Let me search for you then," she said, reaching for her phone when suddenly a shout echoed in the distance.

"Neo!" Both Neo and So-Hee turned to see who it was. Neo already recognized the voice, but So-Hee did not.

"Do you know them?" So-Hee asked.

"My sister and her friends!" Neo laughed as Amelia and the others approached.

"Han So-Hee? Wow! Neo, it's Han So-Hee, your crush!" Amelia exclaimed.

"So pretty!" added Bea.

"Can we take pictures, Miss So-Hee?" Jane asked eagerly.

"First day and we already saw the most beautiful person in Korea!" Mika exclaimed.

"Calm down! Where are your bags? Don't tell me you didn't buy anything?" Neo asked them, noticing they weren't carrying anything.

"We asked if they could deliver our things to the hotel, and they said yes. Don't mind that! Why are you with Miss Han So-Hee?" Amelia inquired.

"Hi, Miss Han So-Hee. I'm Amelia Gray, Neo's sister. Neo sure is lucky to have met you on his first day in Korea," Amelia continued.

"Hello, Amelia! Looks like I have an admirer, right, Neo?" So-Hee laughed while looking at Neo.

"Yeah, didn't I say that when I saw you? One of the reasons I'm here is to find beautiful girls!" Neo replied cheekily.

"You didn't get shy at all while saying that? You're so handsome, but you sure have thick skin, Neo!" So-Hee rolled her eyes.

"Get used to it! He currently has six girlfriends and three unofficial ones. Three of them live in his house," Amelia revealed.

"How can I get girls if you spoil the plot, Amelia? Look, So-Hee looks disgusted with me!" Neo teased.

"Six girlfriends and three unofficial? How can they accept that kind of relationship?" So-Hee was baffled by the news she heard.

"I don't know. That's just his charm! All his girlfriends get along like best friends. No conflict at all!" Bea chimed in.

"that's how great he is. Maybe you'll join them soon, Miss So-Hee," Mika teased.

"All your known girlfriends are famous all over the world," Jane added.

"Ah, stop talking, guys! Hahaha. We are leaving now. Continue your shopping! I'm just walking Miss So-Hee to the parking lot," Neo said, shooing them away.

"Okay, bye! See you later, Miss So-Hee," Amelia called out.

"See you later!" Mika echoed.

"Take care, Miss So-Hee," Jane said.

"See you soon," Bea added.

So-Hee said goodbye as well but felt a little puzzled. Why were they saying "see you later"?

"Let's go, Miss So-Hee. Don't mind them," Neo said as he and So-Hee started walking again.

"Neo, why are they saying 'see you later?'" So-Hee decided to ask.

"Hmm, it's because they thought you would be my girlfriend, that's why," Neo replied.

'Thought'? So he doesn't look at me that way? So-Hee wondered to herself. "I get it. Anyway, Neo, we are here; that's my car," she said, pointing at it.

Neo loaded all of So-Hee's belongings into the car. "Done. Take care, Miss So-Hee. Don't think of me while you're driving; you'll get distracted for sure," Neo joked.

"Dont worry, I won't. I will be thinking about how you manage to have so many girlfriends while driving," she laughed. They chatted for a few minutes before she drove off.

Neo decided to walk back to the department store. The boys were holding two paper bags and were ready to go.

"Are you done? Let's go. What should we buy next? I don't have anything in mind," Neo asked them.

"We should buy luggage for all the shirts. We only brought backpacks," Remi suggested.

"I forgot that you guys don't have pocket money, right? All these were bought with my money. Send me your account numbers for your allowance. I'll give you each 10 million won. If you need more, just ask me again. You too, Hyung and Hoon; you're not strangers to us anymore. You'll be our temporary family in Korea, hahaha. This is also a way of helping you two," Neo said generously. His financial resources were nearly limitless, and he believed in helping others, which is why he built a charity.

"No need to include us, boss. You have already bought us so many things. Each of the clothes is so expensive that it was our monthly salary," Hoon replied.

"Don't spend too much money on strangers like us, Neo. We just met, and you've already spent over $400,000, and now you want to give us $10,000,000? That's not good, Neo. This is your earned money. Don't spend it unnecessarily," Hyung lectured Neo a little about how he should spend his money.

"Hyung, Hoon, you are not strangers anymore. We are friends now, right? Don't worry; my brother is super rich," George chimed in.

"Don't encourage him, George. Even if he is super rich, his money is not infinite. Sooner or later you'll regret it, Neo," Hyung said.

"Neo is rich. It's best to see it for yourself. I love bragging about this to those who don't know yet," Brent said as he picked up his phone and searched for Neo. He showed Hyung and Hoon the article.

"Neo is the richest man in the world right now?!" Hyung shouted in shock.

"Damn! That's why you're spending like you don't care at all," Hoon added.

"Yeah, Neo. He was declared the richest person in the world before we flew here," Tristan explained.

"That's also why we don't mind using his money. If Neo says we can do or buy whatever we like, we follow without questions. Currently, we don't have any use for Neo, but he still treats us like his brothers. We're very grateful for that," Brent concluded.
