Training Dubwool

The island was a place of unrelenting fury. Towering waves crashed against jagged cliffs, and the wind howled like a feral beast.

The sky churned with dark clouds, flashing with streaks of lightning that split the heavens. This was no ordinary land—it was a battleground shaped by the storm itself.

And at its heart, two figures stood tall, enduring the chaos.

Rei and Dubwool.

Rain pelted their bodies like needles, the winds threatening to knock them down, but neither moved. They faced the storm head-on.

Dubwool's wool shimmered with a faint glow, its natural defenses evolving under the relentless pressure. Rei, on the other hand, was shirtless, his muscles flexing as he planted his feet into the soaked earth. His body, like his Pokémon, had adapted.

"Again!" Rei roared through the storm.

Dubwool's hooves stomped into the ground, its muscles tightening. The air around it crackled with energy. This was why Rei had brought it here—to harden its body, to refine its endurance until it could withstand anything.

Lightning flashed. A bolt of thunder crashed down, aimed directly at Dubwool.

BOOM!

The ground shook, but when the dust settled, Dubwool was still standing.

Its wool had absorbed the impact. It panted heavily, but its eyes burned with determination.

Rei grinned. "Not bad. But you can do better."

Dubwool snorted, its breath visible in the cold storm air.

Rei clenched his fists. His own body was undergoing the same transformation. His rapid recovery and adaptability allowed him to push himself far beyond what a normal human could endure. At this rate, he wasn't just training Pokémon—he was evolving alongside them.

Another bolt came. This time, Rei didn't move.

Electricity danced around him as he let the energy pass through his body. It hurt—but he adapted. His muscles tensed, his nerves burned, but he remained standing.

He let out a breath. The storm wasn't an enemy. It was a teacher.

"Alright, Dubwool. Your wool has become tough enough. Now… let's test its power."

From the edge of the island, a massive roar echoed through the storm.

A wild Luxray emerged from the mist, its golden eyes gleaming with predatory intent. This was the king of the island, the true ruler of the storm. If Dubwool wanted to grow stronger, it had to take down a beast that thrived in the lightning.

Dubwool scraped its hoof against the ground, lowering its head. It was ready.

Luxray lunged first, its body coated in lightning as it moved at blinding speed. Dubwool barely reacted in time, throwing up a defensive guard with its wool. Sparks flew as Luxray's claws raked against it, but Dubwool held firm.

"Counter with Wild Charge!" Rei commanded.

Electricity surged through Dubwool's body as it charged forward like a cannonball. The impact sent both Pokémon skidding across the muddy ground, but Luxray recovered instantly, eyes burning with challenge.

Lightning flashed again, and Luxray leaped into the air, gathering energy for a Thunder Fang.

Rei saw the opening. "Headbutt!"

Dubwool's forehead glowed with psychic energy, and it rocketed forward, meeting Luxray mid-air. The collision created a shockwave that sent rain blasting in all directions.

For a moment, neither Pokémon moved. Then, Luxray collapsed.

Dubwool stood victorious, its wool crackling with leftover electricity, its body now hardened beyond its previous limits. Visions of a dragonic sheep started appearing as Dubwool break through into the Heavenly King Stage. It's crystal core that it condense long ago with Rei Technique fuse with his dragon ball, a ball that every dragon type pokemon automaticlly have when they became strong enough.

Rei exhaled, looking at his partner with pride.

"You're tougher than ever," he said, stepping forward and placing a hand on Dubwool's back. He could feel the energy pulsing beneath its wool—stronger, more refined.

The storm had done its job.

Rei looked up at the raging sky, rain still pouring down. This wasn't just training for Dubwool.

He clenched his fists, feeling the power within his own body.

He, too, was becoming something beyond human. A humanoid Pokémon.
