Rei stood at the center, arms crossed, watching as the ritual circle activated.

Using the methods once practiced by cultists who he killed, Rei had prepared a ritual to summon Ghost Pokémon directly from the Spirit Realm.

"Hanuape!" Rei commanded.

The Mismagius froze mid-air, trapped in Hanuape's powerful Psychic chains. It struggled, but Hanuape's strength held firm.

Then, without hesitation—

Mimikyu lunged.

Mimikyu's Feast

The small, shadowy figure moved with terrifying speed.

Mismagius barely had time to react before Mimikyu's cloth expanded, consuming it whole.

A moment of silence.

Then—

A surge of energy exploded outward.

Mimikyu's entire body glowed with an eerie black and purple light, its form shifting, warping, and changing.

The energy of a Heavenly King-rank Pokémon was being absorbed.
