"With this additional 5% stake, I now hold a total of 15%. I wonder if you can stomach that, Ms. Zimmerman!"

I had an ulterior motive in actively seeking out Scarlett this time.

I knew she was very interested in this company. Otherwise, she wouldn't have invested during the company's most critical moment.

Moreover, now that the company is in a stable growth phase, this is practically a money-making opportunity. She has no reason to refuse.

What I didn't expect was that Scarlett's eyes weren't even on the share agreement on the table.
