A little prank

As we entered the presidential suite, I was struck by the beautiful view of the city. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in sunlight and created a warm atmosphere, highlighting the elegant furniture and décor.

The living room invited us to relax with its comfortable sofas. The advanced entertainment system will provide hours of enjoyment, making sure every moment here is fun.

In the bedroom, a peaceful retreat awaits. A king-size bed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets promises restful nights and refreshing sleep. Stepping out onto the private balcony offered a calm spot to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the stunning views of the bustling city below.

The marble bathroom is a highlight, designed with elegance in mind. It had a deep soaking tub for relaxation and a spacious walk-in shower that turns daily routines into a spa-like experience. The luxurious amenities ensure that we have everything we need for comfort.

Every detail of this suite is carefully crafted to provide an amazing experience, creating an atmosphere fit for royalty. I felt amazed as I toured the suite.

"You like what you see?" Dominique's voice rang out as he entered the room behind me. He sauntered in with unhurried confidence, slowly unbuttoning his shirt, each movement showcasing his chiseled muscles flexing beneath the fabric.

"Absolutely! It's incredible!" I shot back, a thrill of uncertainty coursing through me as I wondered if he was referring to the room or his striking physique. Either way, it was perfect for both.

"We're leaving in 40 minutes. Want to grab a bite?" he asked, his consideration making my heart flutter. There was something undeniably charming about his concern. Wait a minute!

"Is this how you treat every girl who shows interest in you?" I teased, my lips pursed and my gaze locked on his, eager to catch every flicker of emotion on his face.

"You think this is thoughtful?" He raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk dancing at the corners of his mouth.

"Well, from you, definitely," I shot back, my heart racing as I drank in his presence.

"Mhm, can't argue with that," he replied nonchalantly, tossing his shirt aside with effortless grace. In that electrifying moment, my heart skipped a beat as I took in the chiseled form before me.

"You're drooling!" Dominique chimed in, shattering my daydream.

"W—what?!" I stammered, my cheeks flushing as I quickly touched my face, realizing I'd been fooled. The embarrassment sent a rush of heat through me.

"I love how your face reveals what you're thinking," he teased, making me cringe and chuckle at the same time.

I saw him digging through the closet, grabbing another set of clothes quickly, likely to get ready before we left. I couldn't help but smile. "Oh, this is a first! You in a different color… and it totally suits you!" I teased, blowing indifferently on my nails.

"What do you mean? It's not black?" he replied, his brows knitting together in a serious expression as he inspected the suit like it was a crime scene. The way he was furrowing his brows was hilarious—I could hardly contain my laughter. Who would have thought that mere colors could leave a demon powerless?

"Nah, it's purple!" I declared with as much seriousness as I could muster, praying he wouldn't catch on to my little deception. He hesitated for a moment, eyeing the suit as if it had betrayed him, before tossing it back onto the bed and striding out into the living room. I trailed behind, intrigued.

He grabbed his phone, the tension radiating off him like heat from an oven. "Michael, get me a new set of clothing," he demanded, rubbing the spot between his brows in frustration. Poor guy was clearly on edge, probably envisioning the catastrophe of wearing that suit in the first place!

We waited for like 10mins and Michael arrived with the new set, oh and of course Diana followed.

"Why do you need a new suit by the way?" He asked us as I went ahead to collect the clothes, Diana's eyes ogling at Dominique's naked upper body.

"My suit was a different color" Dominique answered concisely clearly not in the mood to explain further.

"Different?" Michael asked his eyes landing on me. I squinted back at him not intending to divulge anything. Not wasting time he strode into the room and came back with the suit on the bed.

"What happened to it?" he asked confused as he checked out the suit. Now I knew I was done for, Why did I think of ranking him?

"Umm so I'll go grab something to eat outside," I said as I casually looked at my dress, avoiding eye contact with Dominique.

"What color is it?" Dominique asked, his tone emitting a chill that ran down my spine. I was so dead! Yupp.

"It's black, right Diana?" Michael said still a little confused.

"Yeah, it is" Diana confirmed and I felt a pair of eyes sending daggers at me. Well if looks could kill, I'd have dropped dead by now.

"Ohh wow, It's black! Like so black! What shade of black is this?? And like umm the new suit looks better tho" I said in between forced laughs. The three people in the room all focused their gazes on me which was so discomfiting.

"Oh see my phone is ringing! Give me a minute" I said in a loud voice, which I found intractable. I only took two steps forward before Dominique snapped. How lovely!

"Get back here," he growled. Turning back around, I gave an awkward giggle which was of no help. I had no choice but to walk towards him, deliberately slowing down my pace. We were just two frets apart when he pulled me in catching me by surprise.

"Ahh! Mr.Quill, you look quite dashing and umm in as much as I'm a very reserved person…you might wanna step back a bit" I whispered as I let my hands go crazy on his body, hoping he'd just get annoyed and give up on me.

" Keep that up and we'll probably settle this in the room," he said his voice so low but loud enough for the others to hear him. I quickly retracted my hands and gave a silly little laugh.

"Dominique! Dominique, did I tell you that I have trouble differentiating between black and purple?" I asked again trying to coax him with one of my cutest smiles.

"No you didn't" he replied frankly and I didn't know if it was because he believed me or he was just watching me make a fool out of myself.

"Hahaha well, I do, and umm…okay fine it was a prank! I'm sorry!!" I cried hoping my confession would resolve things, but he simply squinted before walking back into the room with the new suit.

"You're gonna be the death of Dom, you know? I've never seen him so worked up before" Michael exclaimed as he sat down on one of the sofas.

"Ohh well that's if he doesn't kill me first," I said with a big sigh as I sat down too. It was almost 7 so as soon as Dominique was done changing, we'll head out.

"Why couldn't Dom tell the color of his suit?" Diana who had been quietly standing finally voiced out, confusion written over her face.
