Chapter 18: Fury

Her wicked grin stretched over her lips.

This is not good. It wasn’t Arzhel who gave me the letter, it was her. She’s planning something and I have a bad feeling about it.

“Morana, what are you doing here? The letter, it is you, isn’t it?” She just laughs, while shaking her head.

“Ocean, I must say, you’re quite right. I did write that stupid letter. I had no idea you’d fall for it. I’m kind of glad you did, though.” She said this as she moved closer to where I was standing.

“What do you want, Morana? Why are you doing this?” I asked, promptly. I have no time to play with her tricks and I don’t want to concern myself with it.

“Do you really believe Quillan wants you to be his mate?” She sneered at me and I only looked at her with disdain in my eyes.

“You know it is not my fault that I mated with him. It was Arzhel that I wanted, not Quillan.” I reasoned out.
