I flicked my huge fluke towards the disturbance, and the man swam, arms and legs propelling through the water, searching for something.
I stalk him through the dark side, preparing to pounce, but there’s something familiar about him.
There is a voice in my mind warning me not to hurt him, but my wild instinct tells me to hunt him.
I watched as he drifted up to the surface to take a deep breath before diving down. He saw the strange fabric I discarded earlier, inspecting it.
When he swam back above, his expression got more worried, and he shouted something.
“Ocean!”

Was he calling the ocean?

That’s my name. How does he know my name?
“Ocean! Where are you?!” He shouted again.
He’s looking for me? A wicked smile tugged on my lips, if that’s the case, I’ll let him catch a glimpse of me.
I swam around him, making the tip of my fin brush against his foot, which made him freeze.
