“Batten down the hatches!” A man behind the wheel, Captain Eldar Nightwind’s barking orders to his crew resonated above the howling winds, to tie everything down and put stuff away for a coming storm.
The wind vigorously blew the sails, waves crashing the sides of the wooden galleon, rocking it violently. Captain Eldar stood firm on the elevated deck, holding the wheel tightly, and steered clear to the angry seas.
“Captain, Sea Bane will sink if we push further towards the raging wave. Jagged rock spotted ahead, and the waters were too shallow for her.” His first mate, Wyatt Gold, a broad-looking man, warned him about their current position and towards the brewing storm
Captain Eldar considered their situation first, grim lines set on his face as he watches his people scrambling below, fumbling through the labyrinth of riggings. Sails are taken down to protect them from the lashing winds.
