“Did you two have a fight?” Aria asked after Arzhel left the kitchen. It seem that he just went in to get a glass of water. 


My mind is still in uncertainty whether I’m going to tell Aria what happened last night. She knows everything between the mutual feelings I shared with Arzhel and she had never seen him acted that way towards me. Even, I am still not used to this remote manner of him. 


I attempted to give her a consoling grin, however it came out crestfallen. Her face got dreary, deserting what she was doing before Arzhel’s appearance. 


“It’s about being my uncle’s mate, right?” She prodded. 


Resigning an overstated sigh, I proceeded with my forthcoming errand and disregarded her inquiry. I’m actually sorting out some way to manage these feelings and I’m happy that she didn’t push regarding the matter.
