The blower of the AC cooled the room as the light on the table gave enough brightness for her to work. The room had a soft glow to make the ambience perfect for concentration. She made movements with her fingers and started typing on the keys on the keyboard, making the words on the white paper. “I wonder how long this will take to get approved. I wish I had a backup like Selena does; then I could have had a chance to have a pay raise.” She was focusing on the topic, but in the middle, it was broken; the phone rang. Blythe bites her bottom lip and glances at the screen.
