Step One: Denial Is My Best Friend

I woke up with one goal.

Forget everything.

Forget the fan club.

Forget the matchmaker.

Forget the fact that people want me to marry TWO MANIACS.

Just breathe.

And pretend none of it happened.

I sat up. Peace. Silence. Calm.

Then my bedroom door exploded open.

"LADY SERAPHINA, YOUR WEDDING DRESS FITTING IS READY!"

I screamed.

Step Two: Kidnapped by Fabric

Two maids dragged me to the ballroom.

I kicked. I screamed.

"THIS IS ILLEGAL! I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS!"

They ignored me.

Suddenly, I was surrounded by five old ladies with measuring tapes.

The Royal Seamstress stepped forward. "Hmm… We need a dress that matches both of your fiancés."

I froze.

"THEY ARE NOT MY FIANCÉS."

She ignored me and snapped her fingers.

A mountain of white fabric collapsed on me.

I flailed. "I CAN'T BREATHE."

Lila's voice purred. "Breathe later. Look stunning now."

I THREW THE FABRIC AT HER FACE.

Step Three: The Chaos Continues

A maid held up a dress.

"Something elegant, like Lady Lila."

Another maid held up a tuxedo.

"Or something bold, like Duke Damian."

I panicked. "HOW ABOUT SOMETHING INVISIBLE?!"

Damian smirked. "That's an option?"

I grabbed a curtain and THREW IT AT HIM.

Lila laughed. "You're adorable when you panic."

"I'M NOT PANICKING. I'M PROTESTING."

Step Four: Even the Kingdom Betrays Me

The doors burst open.

A royal messenger ran in.

"The King has made an announcement!"

I froze.

"…What."

He unrolled a scroll.

"The royal family officially recognizes Lady Seraphina's engagement to both Duke Damian and Lady Lila!"

I fell off the chair.

Step Five: Accept My Fate (Temporarily Again)

Damian grinned. "It's official now."

Lila held my hand. "Let's pick matching rings."

I grabbed my head. "I HATE EVERYTHING."

The Royal Seamstress nodded. "Alright, let's begin the fitting!"

I screamed as they attacked me with pins and lace.
