The noblewoman stormed in.

Seraphina rubbed her temples.

"I haven't even done anything yet—"

The noblewoman threw a letter at her face.

Seraphina caught it out of reflex.

"…Is this a love letter?"

The noblewoman screeched. "IT'S A CHALLENGE LETTER!"

Seraphina blinked.

"…A duel?"

The noblewoman flipped her golden curls.

"Yes! You humiliated me at the last ball, and I demand satisfaction!"

Seraphina wracked her brain.

Seraphina winced.

Seraphina groaned.

"Can I at least have breakfast first?"

Genevieve snorted.

And with that, she dramatically turned and stormed out.

Seraphina buried her face in her pillow.

"I hate this world."

Lila strolled in.

"Trouble again?"

Seraphina held up the challenge letter.

"Apparently, I'm going to be murdered before lunch."

Lila read the letter and smirked.

"Oh, this should be fun."

Seraphina glared.

"Fun for WHO?"

Lila patted her head.

"You, of course. Don't you want to see a noble lady cry?"

Seraphina paused.

"…Actually, that does sound entertaining."

Lila grinned.

"Good girl. Now go get ready. You have a duel to win."

Seraphina groaned loudly.

At this rate, she wouldn't even need to worry about the game's villainess death flags.

The side characters were going to kill her first.
