That voice.
That mildly concerned, noble voice.

Seraphina nodded weakly.
"I… I was kidnapped. Taken against my will. Held prisoner."
Lucius sighed. "It was just a minor inconvenience—"
Seraphina turned her biggest, most tragic eyes toward Alexander.
"I only wanted freedom."
The prince looked displeased.
"Lord Lucius. Lord Damian." His voice was cold. "Is this true?"
Lucius's jaw tightened.
Damian finally stopped smirking.
Seraphina internally cheered.
