Chapter 45: A Villainess Accidentally Starts a Fake Friendship (Oops!)

Seraphina sat across from Lady Genevieve Blackthorne, sipping tea like she hadn't just used her as a human shield against two possessive vampires.

Genevieve tapped her fingers on the table, eyes narrowed.

"Let me get this straight. You—Lady Seraphina Nightshade, the infamous villainess—are suddenly my friend?"

Seraphina nodded.

"Yes. That's exactly what's happening."

Genevieve leaned back, arms crossed.

"And this has nothing to do with you running away from Prince Alexander and Duke Damian?"

Seraphina sipped her tea.

"…I have no idea what you're talking about."

Genevieve snorted.

"You're a terrible liar."

Seraphina sighed.

"Look, I just need some breathing room, alright? I'm surrounded by powerful, dramatic vampire men who seem to think I exist solely to entertain them. If you help me, I'll owe you one."

Genevieve raised a brow.

"A favor from the villainess? Tempting."

Seraphina smirked.

"Very. You could use it for anything."

Genevieve took a slow sip of tea.

"Anything, huh?"

Seraphina nodded.

Genevieve tapped her chin.

"Then I want—"

A loud crash interrupted them.

Both women turned their heads.

And immediately regretted it.

Enter: The Most Unwanted Guest

Standing in the doorway, covered in rose petals and broken porcelain, was Caspian de Rosier.

The third male lead.

The charming, flirtatious vampire playboy.

The one who Seraphina had successfully avoided until now.

Until now.

Caspian flicked his wrist, shaking off flower petals.

"Ah, my dearest Seraphina. Fate has brought us together once again."

Seraphina blinked.

"…Who are you again?"

Caspian clutched his heart.

"You wound me!"

Genevieve smirked.

"Oh, this is hilarious."

Seraphina groaned.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

"Very much."

A Flirt, A Villainess, and A Fake Friend Walk into a Tea Party…

Caspian strolled over, pulling out a chair.

"So, what are we discussing?"

Seraphina leaned back.

"We were just talking about how I owe Lady Genevieve a favor."

Caspian's eyes sparkled.

"A favor from you? Now that's interesting."

Seraphina glared.

"Don't get any ideas."

Genevieve smirked.

"Oh, I have plenty of ideas."

Seraphina had a bad feeling about this.

Meanwhile, Back in the Courtyard…

Alexander and Damian stood in awkward silence, watching Seraphina through the window.

Alexander frowned.

"…Is she making new alliances?"

Damian narrowed his eyes.

"She's planning something."

Alexander crossed his arms.

"We should investigate."

Damian nodded.

"Agreed."

Back at the Tea Party…

Seraphina sighed.

She was stuck between a scheming noblewoman and a flirtatious vampire.

And outside the window? Two jealous suitors plotting against her.

She just wanted to survive this stupid game.

Why was that so hard?!
