Chapter 59: The Prince, The Duke, and One Very Annoyed Villainess

Chapter 59: The Prince, The Duke, and One Very Annoyed Villainess

Seraphina was done.

Not just "tired" done.

Not just "annoyed" done.

She was ready to throw hands with every single vampire in this damn game.

Current Situation:

Lucien (The Prince): Probably on his way to MURDER someone.

Damian (The Duke): Looking far too pleased with himself.

Alexander (The Only Sane One Here): Questioning his life choices.

Seraphina: Debating the consequences of arson.

Lucien's Grand Entrance

BOOM!

The doors slammed open.

Lucien stood there, fuming. His golden eyes glowed with fury.

The temperature in the room dropped.

Seraphina blinked.

"...Wow. You look really dramatic right now."

Lucien's death glare turned to Damian.

"Give. Her. Back."

Damian stretched lazily.

"Hm… No?"

Lucien's aura flared.

Seraphina held up a hand.

"Okay, pause. TIME OUT. Let's all just—"

Lucien teleported.

One second, he was across the room.

The next?

He had Seraphina pinned against the couch.

Seraphina blinked.

"...You know, if you wanted to be close, you could have just asked."

Lucien's jaw ticked.

"Are you hurt?"

Seraphina considered.

"Physically? No. Emotionally? I need therapy."

Damian vs. Lucien: Round 1

Damian grinned.

"Aw, how sweet. Princey is worried."

Lucien ignored him.

Instead, he cupped Seraphina's face.

"Did he hurt you?"

Seraphina snorted.

"He's annoying, but no."

Lucien's golden eyes narrowed.

Then—

He grabbed her hand.

"We're leaving."

Damian laughed.

"Oh? And what if I don't let her go?"

Lucien's fangs sharpened.

The air crackled with tension.

Seraphina, stuck between two overly dramatic vampires, sighed.

"...Can I at least get popcorn first?"
