Chapter 60: A Villainess in a Vampire Tug-of-War

Seraphina had enough.

Lucien held her right hand.

Damian held her left hand.

Both vampires glared at each other.

Seraphina looked up.

"Is there a god in this world? If so, smite me now."

No divine intervention came.

Only more drama.

Lucien vs. Damian: Round 2

Lucien's fangs glinted.

"You've overstepped, Damian."

Damian smirked.

"Oh? And what will you do about it, Princey?"

Lucien's grip tightened.

"I'll rip you apart."

Damian tilted his head.

"Bold words. Care to test them?"

Seraphina cleared her throat.

"HELLO? Person being fought over here!"

Both vampires paused.

Lucien turned to her.

"I'm taking you home."

Damian raised an eyebrow.

"I AM home."

Seraphina rubbed her temples.

"I swear, if one of you bites me, I'm biting back."

Both men stared.

Seraphina sighed.

"...That came out wrong."

The Unexpected Guest

BAM!

The door slammed open.

A third vampire entered.

Alexander, the only responsible adult here, looked around.

He took in:

Lucien and Damian having a death stare-off.

Seraphina stuck between them, visibly suffering.

Alexander sighed.

"Why am I not surprised?"

Seraphina looked at him with hope.

"Oh good, someone sane."

Alexander sighed harder.

"Unfortunately for you, I'm only here to watch."

Seraphina groaned.

"Useless!"

Final Decision

Lucien turned to Damian.

"I'll make this simple. Let. Her. Go."

Damian leaned in close.

"Or what?"

Lucien's eyes glowed dangerously.

"Or I'll—"

Seraphina suddenly yanked her hands free.

"OR, crazy idea, I LEAVE BY MYSELF?"

Both men stared.

Seraphina huffed.

"Thank you for this ridiculous experience. I'm going home."

And with that—

She marched away.

Leaving behind two very confused vampire suitors.
