Gwen Sees the Diary—Lightning Strikes

Who ever said that writing a diary requires spoilers?

Anyway, as long as he's happy, Luo Chen can write whatever he wants in his diary. No one else is going to see it.

Plus, writing in this diary is incredibly convenient—no need to physically write it down. Every thought simply appears in the diary on its own.

At that moment, he had just finished teaching Gwen Stacy and was enjoying her adoring gaze, but he left soon after. He preferred to keep his distance from the main plot characters, especially since he had no real self-preservation skills. The less contact he had, the lower the chances of dying.

However, he didn't know that, shortly after his departure, a new diary appeared on Gwen Stacy's desk.

When Gwen returned home after seeing Luo Chen off, she saw the diary.

"Is this Teacher Luo's diary?"

Gwen noticed Luo Chen's name on the cover. She initially had no intention of reading it, but somehow, she opened it by accident.

And just like that—Lightning Strike!

As soon as she opened the diary, what she saw immediately gave her a metaphorical lightning strike.

"June 6th: The weather is fine today. Waiting for the first day of Tony Stark's kidnapping!"

"June 7th: The weather is cloudy today. Waiting for the day after Tony Stark is kidnapped!"

"June 7th: Xiaoyu, waiting for the third day of Tony Stark's kidnapping. Luo Chen, Luo Chen, you can't continue to degenerate—you need to work hard!"

"…Struggle, wait for Tony Stark to be kidnapped, buy stocks at a low price, sell them when they turn to new energy, and use the profits for a comfortable life. Who will work hard if not me?"

She didn't expect the first thing she'd see to be that her teacher, Luo Chen, was eagerly awaiting Tony Stark's kidnapping, and what's more, he sounded so determined about it.

Obviously, if he wasn't out of his mind, there had to be a special reason for it.

But then she saw the next entry in the diary.

"This Gwen is so beautiful, she truly is the goddess in the hearts of countless people from past lives!"

"If I get the chance, maybe I can also prevent her tragedy?"

Immediately, Gwen's pretty face flushed. She thought, Does Teacher Luo think I'm pretty too?

She couldn't help but think of Luo Chen's sharp, handsome features and his incomparable abilities as a super-student. Her heart began to race.

At her age, she was like the young Mu Ai, and Luo Chen was nothing like the boys at school who were always making jokes. He was exactly the type of person who would attract someone like her.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she looked down further and saw the mention of a person named Peter Parker, who seemed to be destined to become Spider-Man. Suddenly, she felt uneasy.

"Spider-Man? The one named Peter Parker?" Gwen wondered as she read another entry in the diary. Could this Peter Parker become Spider-Man in the future?

She thought about the possibility of a multiverse—this world had multiple parallel universes, and within those, there were multiple versions of Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

What about the Extraordinary Spider-Man? The Dutch brother Spider-Man?

Undoubtedly, like Tony Stark, Gwen felt her worldview shattering. Parallel universes, multi-universes—these were some of the hottest topics in modern physics.

And now, through Luo Chen's diary, the existence of parallel universes had almost been confirmed.

But that wasn't even the craziest thing. The wildest revelation was that, beyond these parallel and multi-universes, there was something even more mind-blowing: a universe beyond the fourth wall.

Wait… my destiny is just a script written by someone else?

Will I die in the arms of that Extraordinary Spider-Man, Peter Parker, in the future?

And is all of this simply the result of some writer's plot?

The thought made Gwen feel frustrated. Why should I have to sacrifice myself for this plot?

"Spider-Woman?"

Then Gwen saw a complaint from Luo Chen about Spider-Woman. Instantly, her mind conjured an image of herself turning into a hideous creature—half-human, half-spider—and she shuddered in disgust.

In this writer's world, it seemed that there was no way for her and Peter Parker to have a happy ending. Either she would become Spider-Woman and Peter Parker would die, or Peter Parker would turn into Spider-Man and die himself.

Either way, it didn't seem like there was any good ending in sight.

"I'm just a plot character?" Gwen thought, lost in confusion. How could that possibly be true?

She thought carefully, remembering every detail of her life—from childhood to adulthood, the joys and the pain. Everything she had experienced felt so real. She was certain she was an independent individual with the ability to think for herself.

The reason she said "almost certain" was because Luo Chen's diary made it sound too convincing. It was as if this world had been written by someone else.

This realization made her feel a little irritable.

Looking at the statement again, it seemed even her character was being rewritten in different parallel realities.

"Could this be one of Teacher Luo's pranks?" Gwen wondered. Everything in the diary—from time travel and rebirth to Spider-Man and Spider-Woman—was written in such a precise style, it almost felt like a true narrative.

"What's this? Why did Teacher Luo call me the 'unlucky heroine'? I'm not unlucky!"

Gwen couldn't help but speak out loud in protest.

But just as she was about to continue complaining, she noticed more words appearing in the diary.

"Today, I met one of the dream wives of countless time travelers—the best girlfriend in Marvel, and I'm in a great mood. But I'm not sure how she compares to Aomei. I feel like she can't be as big as Aomei!"

Gwen's face immediately flushed red. But then, she continued reading, more curious than upset. Who is this Aomei? How could she be older than me?

"Teacher Luo is really too much!" Gwen thought as she glanced down at her chest. It wasn't small, but apparently, it didn't compare to "Aomei's" size. From this, it was clear that Aomei must hold a special place in Luo Chen's heart.

"I can still grow!" Gwen thought, attempting to comfort herself.

But she quickly remembered that Luo Chen had called her Marvel's best girlfriend, one of the dream wives of countless time travelers. That was a pretty high compliment.

She couldn't help but feel a little shy but also somewhat proud.

"But Mr. Luo is serious on the surface… who would've guessed he's like this privately? Hmph!" Gwen snorted twice, shaking her head with a mischievous smile.
