Exposing Mjolnir

There were also those who specifically fought against vampires—the Daywalker, Blade Warrior. It seemed like the protagonist of a certain story.

At least, that's what Nick Fury thought he had learned.

There had been many incomprehensible things at first—things that didn't make sense, like why a Daywalker existed among vampires. But now, it was clear. The protagonist always had something special about them.

And then there was Daredevil. A blind man with such skill, capable of delivering justice—did anyone believe that?

Nick Fury couldn't believe it!

But what was even more outrageous was the birth of the green titan Hulk. He had never heard of anyone turning into a green titan after being irradiated with gamma rays.

As far as he knew, the military had conducted multiple experiments with gamma radiation, more than a hundred people had died, and none had survived. No one had ever mutated.

That was why the military later sought to capture the Hulk and needed Bruce Banner's blood. They simply couldn't replicate the experiment's success.

Looking back now, even if they tried 10,000 times, they still wouldn't succeed. This wasn't about luck—it was because, first and foremost, you had to be the protagonist.

If you weren't the protagonist, you wouldn't have that kind of fate!

It could be said that without the protagonist's life, even if you had 10,000 chances, your probability of failure would still be 10,000.

"Speaking of which," Nick Fury suddenly recalled, "wasn't Carol also the protagonist of a story series?"

He thought back to Carol, the woman who had given him the idea of forming the Avengers—Captain Marvel.

If you looked at the story of her adventures, wouldn't it be the perfect script for a movie? Carol had gone from being a pilot to a superhero, venturing into space to fight for justice, facing alien forces along the way. It was a perfect Hollywood script template.

Nick Fury's thoughts began to wander. From the perspective of movies, TV shows, comics, or even anime, there were reasonable explanations for many of the outrageous things that had happened.

The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed!

In fact, it seemed very likely!

"Looking at it this way, Tony Stark is probably also a protagonist. Iron Man?" Nick Fury looked at the records in the diary. "Mark Armor!"

Nick Fury had probably already figured out the trajectory of Tony Stark becoming Iron Man. It fit with Tony's personality—his genius, his ego.

"But are the things in this diary true?" Nick Fury still found it hard to believe. His suspicious nature made it difficult for him to accept the sudden appearance of the diary.

Even though the diary had provided reasonable explanations for many things that had once been incomprehensible, it was hard for him to accept.

However, what happened next forced him to believe.

As he continued to read, words began to appear in the blank space of the diary.

"Speaking of which, the fact that Mjolnir landed in New Mexico seems to be the same year Tony Stark announced himself as Iron Man. Fury broke into his house and invited him to join the Avengers. The Superman weather group—Tony Stark must be stupid!"

The Avengers.

Did the diary really know that he was planning to form the Avengers?

Nick Fury narrowed his eyes. He hadn't told anyone about his plan to form the Avengers. That plan was still hidden away in his drawer.

For one, there weren't any large-scale paranormal events that the Avengers would need to deal with yet.

Secondly, he hadn't figured out the full team. Apart from Black Widow Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye Barton—both elite S.H.I.E.L.D. agents—they were still just mortals. They weren't capable of handling the supernatural threats the Avengers were meant to confront.

Then, there was the green titan Hulk, a member Nick Fury had pre-selected for the team, but he was still under observation.

In short, the Avengers was still an organization in the works.

But according to Luo Chen's diary, the formation of the Avengers seemed very certain.

So, was Nick Fury definitely going to form the Avengers in the future?

"But Tony Stark will reveal his identity as Iron Man?" Nick Fury hadn't expected that, but considering Tony's flamboyant personality, it actually made a lot of sense.

"Mjolnir... Could it be? That Thor's Mjolnir from Norse mythology?" Nick Fury's mind immediately went to Thor, the god from Norse mythology.

There were many legendary figures and gods in various mythologies, but when it came to Thor, Mjolnir was always mentioned. The connection was too obvious—it pointed directly to Thor in Asgard.

His eyelids twitched. Could it be that, in addition to dealing with aliens, werewolves, and vampires, he'd also have to face gods in the future?

He felt his worldviews shatter even more. Gods? Wasn't that a concept confined to legends?

Thinking about this, Nick Fury's head began to hurt.

If that was the case, the future was going to be wild.

At the same time, the update in the diary caught Tony Stark's attention, who was deep in thought, sketching design drawings.

"Expose Iron Man's identity? Sure, that's something I can do!" Tony Stark smirked.

He had a good understanding of his own character—he was no masked knight like Robin Hood. He wasn't one to hide in the shadows.

If he was going to be Iron Man, he'd make it clear.

"Mjolnir?" Tony Stark's eyes narrowed as he read. "Isn't that... the Mjolnir from Thor in Norse mythology?"

"Indeed, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied. "Based on the details in the diary, it's likely referring to Thor from Norse mythology. This means, sir, that you may have to deal with gods in the future."

"Gods? What kind of creatures are they?" Tony Stark's curiosity was piqued, his research and gossip instincts kicking in. "Are they alien creatures? Mutated humans? High-dimensional beings? Or creatures from another dimension? Silicon-based beings?"
